The hotel is very nice with a great sea view, swimming pool and balcony with a view, very enjoyable when the weather is good. The hotel facilities are relatively complete, in addition to the toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers need to bring your own, the front desk can also change the change to take the bus. There are some very good seafood restaurants around. Apart from being far from the city, everything else is perfect and it is the perfect choice for a vacation.

Lovely hotel, very clean and modern apartment. Unfortunately we were located above the ventilation for the laundry/technical room so not a minute day or night that didn't sound like we were next to a factory! We were in room 515 and really this room and the rooms above and below should be blocked off. Not only the constant noise but various smells, some nice....washing, some not so great.....school dinners! We did ask to move rooms immediately but only 2 rooms with small double beds were offered and we liked the large twin beds. Would definitely stay again but only if we could guarantee to be away from the ventilation system. The only other issue... we fancied eating dinner in the restaurant one evening. On arrival, we asked if there were vegetarian options as it's a buffet. The guy told us to go to the snack bar! Overall a great place for a holiday, just not in room 515!

Arrived 3rd Feb at the back end of a HUGE rain storm and gale force winds.the staff on reception were calm and professional in the face of some really abrupt guests we witnessed. Yes everyone was frustrated but the hotel didn’t ask for a catastrophic weather event. All we could see was a massive effort to get the place back in order. We dreaded the mealtimes having read the reviews. 8am breakfast, plenty of seating in the window watching the sun rise. Enormous choices of high quality food. Lovely staff. Free Prosecco on ice. No offence as we are a couple (one of us mid 50’s, the other mid 60’s). But we could only last one night eating in the hotel as it really felt aimed at saga guests and very elderly. Lovely to see them enjoying themselves but not the vibe we wanted. Had we not had the means to eat on the marina every night, I feel our review would be less positive. Absolutely not the hotel’s fault but really did feel like a v v much older clientele. The place is stunning. Spotless. Huge which we liked as we don’t want to see the same people over and over, it’s easy to lose yourself here and keep to ourselves of you prefer. Many guests were Dutch, Norwegian and German and we heard some Scottish accents. All very calm and respectful and certainly no noisy nights or loud behaviour. Premium room in our opinion is worth the costs. A kettle. Free water. Robes and slippers. And then the rooftop terrace, exclusive to premium guests until 5pm. Plus a free spa pass. Just absolutely stunning with a quiet bar, they bring sandwiches out in lay afternoon plus bowls of peanuts with haribo sweets o top. Nice touch. The rose wine was just £10.80 per bottle. Incredible. The staff Cintia and Christian were extremely attentive and lovely. Christian, thanks again for sorting us the. Bloody Mary!!? Location is faultless almost in the marina. Watched the sunrise at breakfast and sun set from rooftop bar. If I take my rose coloured spectacles off for a moment. Although I refuse to give less stars…. 1) the cleaner was lovely but mopped our room with something that smelt of dirty stagnant water mixed with bleach. The room smelt like my primary school circa 1974 so we asked for the room not to be cleaned for the other 4 days. 2) thank goodness the spa pass was free. It’s very lovely but not functional. The sauna door does not slide and has a 1 inch gap around the entire frame. It’s cold. The steam room was cold, no steam. When you eventually find the buttons to turn in the many water jets in the huge pool it is fun. The door was locked onto the sun terrace where we wanted to lay and dry off in the sun. Would have been very unhappy it pay £25 each for the 90 minute entry. Overall you can always find fault in anything and of course 4 days of full sun and70* degree heat made everything seem superb. But I would book again, probably room only or b&b.

The whole stay was very unpleasant, the negotiation took 1 hour to get the room, the front desk staff was black-faced and the words were rude. The hotel is on the roadside, very big, it is difficult to reach without driving i car, the parking lot is empty several floors, the charge, many people do not use, the car parked around the hotel free parking space. The hotel is large, 3 buildings, and there is a mini swimming pool 🙄 19 o'clock closed.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Most professional. Beautiful gardens, lovely hotel clean and tidy. Modern with very enjoyable entertainment each evening. Most enjoyable stay that made a trip to remember with a perfect location. Nothing too much for the staff. Hairdresser on site and coffee shop too. A five minutes walk from the beach with 2 wonderful swimming pools on site.

Pleasantly surprised when we arrived Sunday morning, our room was available. The room had a sea view, the bed was king size and so comfortable & spotless. Polite, pleasant & obliging staff, full of information. no queuing in the food area, table always available. Good selection at breakfast (Although plum tomatoes would have been nice option) The evening meal was just as good. We loved the whole experience! Relaxing holiday! See you next year Xx

We arrived at the hotel Alay on September 16th. A friendly staff member Monica, checked us in . As we are seniors she was extremely helpful. Gave us a choice of room, installed the hotel wifi on our phones. A very positive start. The hotel is lovely and bright. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. The bedroom was a good size. It could do with an upgrade. There are no drawers to put clothes into. Some shelves in the wardrobe, but certainly needed more space. Bathroom was small and a bit of a challenge getting into and out of the bath. The dining room was pleasant and room for everyone. Staff were most helpful. We enjoyed the great breakfast buffet. Everyone's taste was catered for. Pools and sun beds were very pleasant and quiet. We had a thoroughly wonderful holiday, and hope we can return again. Mary Buckley

This hotel is located in a quiet part of Benalmádena, just 250 metres from the beach. It has its own water park and offers air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony. All of the spacious rooms in Los Patos have satellite TV and practical tiled floors. Some have partial sea views. The on-site water park includes a children's pool with many water games and slides. The adult's pool also has a 4-track water slide and several other slides. There is also a poolside bar. Los Patos Hotel has a sun terrace and spacious gardens with palm trees. There is also free Wi-Fi in public areas, and a TV room. A varied entertainment programme is offered, and children can enjoy the Pirate-themed mini club. Benalmádena Marina is about 1 km away, where you will find plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. Málaga Airport is about 8 km away.

This hotel is okay. It really needs updating though. The rooms are looking a bit tired with old furniture. The curtains and cushions in our room were grubby with dirty marks on them. The bed was very comfortable though and the cleaners came in every day. The All Inclusive is not worth the money with very limited drinks and only two cocktails, which were very sugary. I would recommend staying half board here. The food is fine with plenty of selection, though the beans at breakfast were luke warm at best. Most of the staff are friendly. The location is good, just a short walk to the marina. It is on a slight hill. There are building works going on outside the hotel at the moment, which is noisy, but this is not the hotel's fault. You have to pay a deposit and a daily fee for the safe in your room and you also have to pay each day you use a pool towel. This is not something you expect from a four star hotel. We knew about the towels before we went, so we took our own. The pool area is quite small and not all of the sunbeds have umbrellas. Would we stay here again? Maybe, purely for its location, but not on an All Inclusive basis.
