A budget place to stay, but not from choice.Towels not changed in 3 days. The room safe is chargeable. The noise from the ‘entertainment’ was carrying on until 1.30am on the Tuesday evening. Had to insist that we were moved to the upper floors

Pool and daytime bar were excellent.

No balcony only air con in the sitting room had to ask for fresh sheets and towels when needed no cleaning done in 5 nights no baby pool not really suitable for kids .

We spent a few great holidays here. How different now. We asked to change room as crap view and cigarette burns in sofa and curtains. Not possible fully booked. Yeah right no visitor noise. Advertise clothes washing facilities. Manana. Advertise 15 euro stay till 3pm. Not available. It is a crap lying place. Don't come 😔😔😔

We booked a late deal, we were all very happy with Doramar. It is very centrally located and the beach is only a very short walk, though it is on an incline. Our room was very clean; they changed linen etc half way through our week stay. Rooms have a microwave, hob, fridge with ice box and basic gadgets. We like doing a bit of self catering as we are a tight budget. However, when we did eat at the hotel it was very good value for money and very tasty - the coffee was wonderful. Better than a lot of places we went to! We didn't notice any of the noise from karaoke that other reviews mentioned, but we were on the 5th floor. The shower was hot and powerful and this is one of my standards, which it passed! The hotel staff were always helpful when we queried anything. The WiFi was free, the air con worked well. The pool was just a nice size. There weren't enough sunloungers, but they are much cheaper than the 14€ on the beach. They could do with a better system as people would reserve them and not show up for hours - perhaps do them on 3 hour slots?? Our only complaint was that the mattresses were very hard, the pillows were fine but we woke up with aches and pains. Otherwise it was a great little budget hotel. We would stay there again.

On arrival got ripped off with the price. Sister pressed wrong button on the card machine and got charged an extra £50. Complained and asked for a refund to repay correctly, they refused. Sheets were not changed the whole week. There was big hairs in the toilet area and shower. So was not clean. There were blood marks on the sheets after a few days so something was definitely eating me during the night. See pics for the state if the appartment. Burn marks and damage everywhere. Got charged £619 for the week. What a rip off Even if you have the appartment they want 3 euros a day for the sun loungers at the pool even if you buy drinks.. what a joke.. I will never be back here again. Reception staff are unhelpful and dismissive. You need to also take your own rubbish to the bins down the street.
