Honestly I was anxious about arriving at this hotel after seeing the mixed reviews but we didn’t have any major issues with the hotel/holiday! The only downside is the food options can be slightly repetitive and not clearly labelled if you have any allergies. Breakfast was the best meal of the day. The hotel staff were really accommodating and friendly. The queues were very minimal aside from the snack bar which can be up to 30 minutes. The signs state only 2 drinks/meals from the snack bar per person but we had no issues ordering 3 items as a family of 3 and seen other families ordering more. The best thing about this hotel is the pool/slides. Our son had the best time, we always managed to find a decant spaced sunbed close to the pool. Some people do queue from stupid o’clock but we were able to get a good bed when joining the queue at 9:45am. The beach/shops is within walking distance, down a slight hill but not too steep. We would definitely return!

Great Stay – Well Organised and Friendly Staff We stayed here from 11th July for six nights. We arrived late after dinner had finished, but a table had been set for us with cold meats, salads, and bread. This was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The rooms are quite basic but functional. They included a fridge, plenty of plug sockets, and were serviced when requested. Since we spent most of our time out at the pool or taking part in activities, the size and simplicity of the room were never an issue. The balcony was a nice bonus—somewhere quiet to sit in the morning or evening. With so much to do around the hotel, we didn’t feel like we were missing out. As a family of three, we had no trouble getting sunbeds each day without queuing. We preferred a quieter spot, though families with younger children may want to stay closer to the pool. Some beds were reserved early with towels, but we didn’t see many people actually using them. The food service was very good. Staff were friendly, helpful, and started recognising us after a few days. As a side note—when you hear a bell ring, it means someone has tipped the staff, which is a nice gesture in a cashless setting. We never had to queue to be seated or wait long for food. There was always plenty of variety, and we were never short on options. A couple of times we didn’t find a main we really fancied, but there was always enough choice that it didn’t matter. It would’ve been nice to see a few more traditional Spanish dishes at lunch or dinner, especially for kids to try something local. Desserts were sometimes repetitive, but once we found what we liked, we stuck with it. Breakfast was a highlight, with pastries, fruit, yoghurt, and churros—a hit with both adults and kids. The pool was clean and saltwater, not chlorinated. It wasn’t heated, but by late morning it was warm enough. Lifeguards were attentive and did their job well. The snack bar did get busy and seemed understaffed at times, especially before dinner or during lunch service. That said, since we weren’t usually that hungry between meals, we didn’t mind waiting. On our last day, we had a late flight. We left our room at 11am, stored our luggage in the provided lockers, and were still able to use the pool and have lunch. We were also offered a free room to get changed before our transfer, which was a nice extra. This may not always be available during busy periods, but it’s worth asking. Overall, a well-run hotel with friendly staff and good facilities. Tip: Learn a few basic Spanish phrases, and if you’ve got some spare change, tipping the staff is a great way to show appreciation for their hard work.

We’ve just returned from a brilliant family holiday at Globales Los Patos Park, and I can’t recommend it highly enough for families with young children. The location is great—while not right in the centre of town, everything you need is just a short walk or quick drive away, and the beach is nearby. Perfect for a relaxing break while still having access to local attractions. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every member of the team, from reception to housekeeping, went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The resort was spotless, with rooms and public areas kept exceptionally clean throughout our stay. Our children absolutely loved the swimming pools and water slides—they spent hours every day splashing about and never got bored. The entertainment staff were amazing, especially with the kids. They had so much energy and were so engaging. Our girls especially enjoyed the Mini Club, which had a full schedule of fun activities and games they looked forward to every day. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from each night. There was always something for everyone, including the kids, and we rarely had to queue for long. The service in the restaurant was brilliant, with staff constantly making sure tables were cleared and food was topped up. Evenings were a highlight, with nightly shows that provided entertainment for the whole family. Our girls couldn’t wait for the Mini Disco, which became their favourite part of the day. One small thing to mention is that some guests do like to queue for sunbeds around 9am, but even when we headed down after 10am, we never struggled to find a spot—there are plenty to go around. We stayed in room 801, which was spacious, cleaned daily, and had a lovely sea view from the balcony—a perfect place to unwind in the evening. All in all, this was a fantastic family holiday. Globales Los Patos Park ticked every box for us, and we would absolutely recommend it to other families looking for a fun, stress-free break in the sun. The Tofton family

We recently stayed at Globales Los Patos Park and while the location is undeniably beautiful, the overall experience left a lot to be desired – especially given the price and its supposed 4-star rating. Positives first: The hotel is in a great spot – a short walk to the beach and only a quick taxi ride to the marina. The pool area was fantastic, especially for families, and the lifeguards were attentive and clearly took their job seriously. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, there were several issues that really let the place down: – The walls are paper thin – we were woken multiple times during the night due to noise from other rooms. – Housekeeping was poor. Our room wasn’t cleaned on our final day, we had to make our own beds, and go down to reception to request towels. – The food was repetitive and underwhelming. The desserts were exactly the same every night except once. – Queues were a big problem – especially at the snack bar and, shockingly, for sunbeds. At one point we were queueing for over an hour just to get a place by the pool. – If you have a child with dairy allergies, be warned – the hotel doesn’t cater well at all. It needs serious improvement in this area. – There seemed to be a clear divide between Spanish and British guests, which made for an odd atmosphere. Spaniards obviously favoured. All in all, we left feeling let down. For what we paid, we expected a much higher standard. Sadly, we won’t be returning, and we’re still scratching our heads over how this hotel has been rated 4 stars.

Great hotel and facilities. Waterslides are great for the kids (and adults!). Food in the main restaurant good with plenty of choice, although the lunch snack bar is very limited and the quality of the food is terrible and very long queues. Hotel allows you to choose lunch or dinner if youre half board, so you have the option to eat out in the evenings. Entertainment is ok for those with small children, just what youd expect really, not fantastic. One thing which was a big negative was the price of a safe, €48 for the week and you only got €10 back at the end! What a complete rip off! Hotel is at the top of a hill, so just consider that if any mobility issues. Overall a lovely holiday and I'd recommend this hotel. Overall a lovely holiday and
