Although the location of this hotel is a bit remote, it was still lively on Friday night with many guests staying. On Saturday morning, some people were practicing swings on the golf course behind the hotel; and children were playing football on the lawn just after entering the gate, which seemed to be organized training or competition. The hotel itself is quite old, but the hygiene is kept very clean and the service staff are also very friendly. The only drawback is that the sound insulation is average, and the noise continued until late on Friday night.

We had an excellent and relaxing stay at Belton Woods Hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food especially the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. During our stay we used the pool and spa facilities which were all very clean, the pool was nice and warm and large enough for doing few lengths without getting in to anyone's way.

Stayed here for two nights and had a really lovely time. The setting itself is beautiful with the rooms overlooking the golf course. All the staff were really friendly, couldn’t fault anyone! We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night and the food was amazing, our server Molly was absolutely incredible and friendly. Breakfast was really nice too, it’s a nice touch that certain things can be requested from the kitchen (porridge and pancakes) as this gives more options. Spa treatments were really good as well, used the gym a few times during our stay and it was very well equipped. Room was lovely and had a very comfy bed, however the walls are VERY thin as we were woken up both mornings by the room next door using their bathroom so that was a bit of a shame as we would’ve liked to have slept in a bit. Overall a really lovely trip away

Fab weekend, facilities all good. Well organised to cater for large golf parties. Good location close to the town of Grantham, couple of lovely golf courses with nice outside areas at the hotel. Staff were all pleasant and helpful especially Victoria and Ewie.

My wife and I had a fabulous weekend away at Belton Woods. The room was great with views across the golf course. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant. Great food and a really nice atmosphere. All in all, a very enjoyable and relaxing time. We will definitely be heading back there again soon.

Hotel and golf both very good although 5 hour rounds is a bit long, Food and staff good, room clean and the beds very comfortable Couple of minor growls, arrived after 3 hour car journey at 10,45 went to order a bacon roll in the claret jug to be informed food is not available until 12.30, apparently the breakfast menu finished at 10.30 ! After golf had a late dinner, 8.15pm, whilst waiting for our starters I ate the bread roll, when my soup came I asked for another roll and was told No ! Seems a very petty attitude which is a shame as generally everything else was good.

Me and my partner stayed here in July, we had an overnight stay, spa treatment and an evening meal. Our evening meal was served by Georgia and she was fantastic, couldn’t have been more helpful. 10 / 10 would recommend staying here. We accompanied our stay with a visit to Belvoir castle which is only 30 mins away. What a great way to spend the day
