The room is very suitable for families who need to cook something for themselves. It is suitable for families with more than 4 people. However, the housekeeping is not good and you need to make a reservation the day before. It feels like there are not enough staff, so if you need anything, go to the front desk and get it directly.

Staff was exceptionally attentive and helpful. I really appreciated the warm bar food & drinks available after our long drive. Their hot breakfast hit the spot! Eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, toast, fruit, etc. Our room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Although we didn't participate, the firepit was a nice touch at night!

We stayed three nights at the Hyatt House in Belmont. It was a very pleasant stay, from check in to check out. The staff at check in were very welcoming and respectful. We received a complimentary upgrade to a larger suite, on the top floor (as requested). We found the room very spacious and clean. AC, plumbing, appliances, etc. all functioned as they should. The complimentary hot breakfast buffet every morning was delicious. (The scrambled eggs were great, unlike too many experiences we've had recently.) Noise levels at the property were at a minimum, and we got a good night's sleep on the comfortable king bed each night. If we visit the San Francisco area again (likely), we will be booking this property again.

I chose this hotel because I wanted more space for my family to spread out and this fulfilled that need. It is dated and "clean enough" and the breakfast is just okay. I think its price reflects this though and we had a pleasant visit, but don't show up with high expectations or you will be disappointed. I will say the hotel should advertise that it doesn't have an elevator so get your request in early if you can't use the stairs for the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms!
