Our stay at the Fort George was great! We met Chloe the concierge on arrival and she was just fabulous. Although Belize City is somewhat limited on touristy activities, the fort George was beautiful and we had plenty to do in our free time there. The pool and gym were great and the restaurant on site had very food and treats. We enjoyed the daily house keeping and water restock while we were out. Staff were all so friendly. We felt very comfortable and welcomed there.

Chloe was the best! A great concierge. She booked all of our tours. I would highly recommend this hotel. The wait staff at the restaurant were exceptional. Clean rooms and a beautiful plunge pool. Be sure and reserve the shuttle to/from the airport.

The hotel is gorgeous. Clean and quiet The staff are friendly and very professional, The bed are comfy The swimming pool and outdoor eating area are great!! And the Spa have a wonderful service, I got a full body massage and facial cleaning that put me to sleep!! I really recommend the Fort George Hotel and Spa! It worth every penny!!

From the moment you walk in the front doors- everything is amazing! One of the most beautiful places I’ve been too. Bruce helped with my luggage, Cecilia checked me in and was a gem! Chloe was kind, funny and generous! Visit the spa and ask for Alyssa . Marleen made check out a breeze. Can’t wait to return to this paradise. Pics won’t do this stunner of a resort justice. You must visit! Can’t wait to return (in two weeks!)

Andean made our stay in this beautiful hotel. She was so kind and knowledgeable and made us feel so welcome The restaurant and the servers were incredible. Wonderful menu and great cocktails. We are sad to leave this beautiful place. Can’t wait to come back

It's a nice looking hotel, and the concierge service and the spa team are the standouts by far (they were outstanding) However, for the prices that the hotel charges, they need to be much, much, better and far more consistent in their offerings. One day it shows potential and the next day is woeful. The basic example I have is the açai bowl that is served for breakfast. One morning I had it, and it was great - it's simple dish to prepare but it was done right. The next time I tired it, the açai bowl was barely edible - it was a congealed, tasteless substance. The same with the smoothies - on one day it was quite good, the next day, same smoothie, it was a watered down disappointment. The staff try hard, and were lovely to talk with, but I observed no obvious managerial presence. The one manager I did observe kept her head down the whole time I was checking out. If I am paying a small amount for a hotel then it doesn't matter about managerial presence, consistency, and quality of product. But, as is the case with Fort George, I was paying a high amount, then the hotel leadership have got to do a better job at being role models for their people; at creating a consistent product; and providing value for money.

The food was delicious & the customer service was top tiered. Very professional, well mannered & absolutely attentive to my needs! The atmosphere was very relaxed & the lounge was beautifully crafted. The menu had so many options, catering to both the local and international guests with reasonable prices!

This hotel in one word is …sexy. I do not mean that in any way to be disrespectful. From the moment you walk in, it smells amazing and you are greeted by beautiful friendly staff. The food, the rooms, the concierge all go above and beyond. I need to write more but I just finished a delicious dinner in the The Treehouse (with our fantastic server, bartender and barista Janella and now I need a nap!
