Traveled there especially for a very exclusive event and also stayed overnight. Castle hotel with a view of the water. Art in the park. Pool and wellness. Arrival from Belfast city airport by train (towards Bangor). Only a few meters walk from the platform to the hotel.

On entering the spa we were welcomed by a lovely lady and Joel. What a great team. The lady who's name I forget showed us around before our facial. Amazing facilities and spotlessly clean. We normally go to the merchant but after a bad experience.....not in the spa but the restaurant we will never be returning. Saying that the Culloden experience was exceptional in every way so to be honest we would not have returned to the merchant. Another thing I'd like to mention were the ladies that did our facials. Amazing. What we loved even more was there were no pressures to buy their products, which we will on our next visit. You can eat in their lounge area with ur robe on and no makeup and not feel uneasy. All the staff are just lovely. You wouldn't have thought it was our first visit. We stayed there for 5 hours. In a word AMAZING. If you ever have some free time, go. Ull feel amazing when you leave. It's also much cheaper than the hyped up Merchant with much better facilities. Hastings your team are amazing. We can't wait to return

Meal was absolutely beautiful The staff were amazing So attentive and warm Knew their food and beer choices I had the duck was so pink and delicious Sister had the fish with a bisque stunning The rooms lovely but too warm and idea of having to climb into the bath for your shower not ideal The bar after dinner set a nice theme and staff again were lovely I had the bramble as they had no mint fir the mojito But overall a great stay and a lovely team of people

We had a wonderful stay. Right from checking in, staff were attentive and accommodating. We were celebrating our anniversary & they kindly gave us muffins and macaroons in the room. Staff look after us really well, we felt they were always ready to assist when needed. Pool and spa is clean and has enough pool beds to relax.Our stay includes dinner at the cultra inn, everything was tasty especially the pork belly! Lough bar, has good selection of drinks and plenty of comfortable seats to relax. Breakfast was served in Vespers, they have a continental buffet and you can also order hot food. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and definitely worth for the price we pay. We cannot wait to go back with some family members.

My new fav spot for a night away without the kids! We had a King room, 208, great location few steps from the spa/pool. Cupcakes on arrival (thank you😁), and a massive bath and separate shower We went to the pool after check-in. I love the sofas and bar area, such a fab touch. You can order drinks, snacks etc and sit in your robe & enjoy. Went back down the following morning after breakfast. Great vibe about it. Didn’t use gym or treatments (last min booking) Had dinner in Cultra Inn for 8:15pm. Everything was delicious start to finish. Cozy, relaxed vibe. Also got a lift down from reception as it was raining! Would recommend Had a few in the Lough Bar before bed. Singer was a nice touch. Breakfast the next morning was lovely. Buffet of hot & cold. Soda bread, potato bread, all the usuals, poached eggs! I felt so relaxed the next day when leaving, was such a treat and will definitely be back.

Disappointing - management hovering around in suits but with no willingness to engage or interact with guests. Poorly trained staff, lack of menu knowledge. Actual surroundings beautiful but let down by a ‘laisez affaire’ attitude. Not good enough for the prices charged

I treated myself and my friend to a lovely day at the Spa and indulging in the wonderful facilities for a but of R&R. I was greated by the wonderful Judith at the desk who was kind and smiley. She welcomed us and also was very informed about the ESPA products on sale and we treated ourselves to a beautiful smelling defuser. Such a lovely day, treat and wonderful staff. We will be back!!

Great building and grounds and wedding arrangements and food and service during wedding celebrations excellent. Very poor buffet breakfast and service.
