voco Belfast, an IHG Hotel

Recently stayed here during a work trip and loved it. First thing to mention is the staff. Whether it was checking in with Inga or asking her to change my pillows, getting a breakfast with Sophie, or buying a beer from Odhran, they were all incredibly friendly and did the best to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel itself made a great breakfast everyday and the beds were really comfortable, I will definitely be coming back soon as we all fell in love with Belfast.

Amazing!! Such a beautiful hotel. We had such a lovely stay and the staff are such a credit, especially bernadette at the front desk, and the bar staff: I didn’t get their names but all so friendly! The rooms as well are fabulous and so clean. I will be back :))

Truly awful service. Steven in the bar goes out of his way to make things as uncomfotable as possible and will put his own humour above your requests, even when explicitly asked not to. There’s no control who enters the space because it seems there are only ever 3 members of staff on shift, and no access card control on the entrances or lifts - the card readers are there but don’t work. More than once my friends and I observed dodgy behaviour from people in the bar who didn't seem to be staying in the hotel. The hotel isn't in the city centre proper and their behaviour came across as nothing short of predatory, yet there was literally no acknowledgement from the staff, not even a glance to know they might intervene if it got too much. They were also unable to deliver room service in a timely manner - an hour + then I just cancelled and had to find something else. Its fundamentally unsafe for a single traveller and downright edgy for everyone else. Never gain.

Avoid Avoid Avoid! Do yourself a favour and stay clear. Belfast has lots of good hotels this is not one of them. ..............................................................................................................................

What a great place to stay! Perfect location for walking into the city (10 minutes to City Hall & St George's Market). Our room was spacious, spotless and well equipped. The decor in and around the hotel is modern and fresh but atmospheric. We had dinner one night here and the Gnocchi was to die for - well done chef 👍🏼 Dagmar, our waitress was so friendly and the service was great despite there only being her and another guy (we think the restaurant manager) serving tables. Staff in the hotel are really friendly, welcoming and keen to share their local knowledge of what to do/where to go. It's been my first visit to NI and this hotel stay and the staff we met just added to a great experience and a love affair with NI!!

Relaxing hotel and good location. Not too expensive. Lovely decor and fantastic staff in every department. Nice dinner and breakfast. Rooms are nice and will hopefully come back again soon. Thanks Voco Team. A special shout out to the Front Office and Reservations team.

The Voco had only just completed a renovation on our visit. The location is a short walk from the centre of Belfast and actually nice as it's away from the tourist hubub. The decor is stylish and unique. And the front desk service is incredibly warm and friendly. The rooms are stylish, spacious and well appointed. Overall the hotel has a nice fresh feel. We didn't eat at the hotel as we found some great spots nearby, however, we did have drinks in the bar in the evening which has a very relaxing vibe.

Had a great one night stay in a suite to head to the SSE arena. Will be staying here again. Hotel lobby and bar are so friendly as our the reception staff. Room was lovely and bed so comfy. Few little things let it down. The bath was chipped and stained however not dirty. You could tell the bathroom was not new. The breakfast wasn’t great. We went down at 10.30 on a Sunday morning and there was very little left. This is when breakfast is till 11. We had an issue with the hot water to have a shower however this was resolved the following morning. Again to say the staff are brilliant and I can’t wait to return.

Recently was involved with a wedding here and what can I say it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the lovely rooms to the amazing staff and food the Voco hotel is 10/10. The staff were so accommodating, anything we needed they provided. Some of the staff I remember being great (sorry if I have forgotten some) Zara, Kerrie, Cian and Ben all lovely. The hotel has recently been renovated and this adds to the whole experience. I will be staying again and can’t wait to have the same positive experience. Very reasonably priced for a city centre hotel too.
