Thank for saving us in the night to the staff, owners.
Unfortunately because of the weather we came at 21 pm without having a dinner. It was fully rainy, but staff came and prepared for us a dinner, perform everything and was absolutely friendly.
As for a place: it is wonderful for hicking relax and fun.
Beautiful place with a different choise to hick.

This is heaven on earth. Our favorite place to break away from the crazy city life. The owners are very friendly and made us feel like part of the family. There is no place better to sooth your sole and revive your spirits. This place is tranquility at its best.

Wow!!! Imagine sleeping with the sounds of a river flowing, waking to a myriad of wild bird song, fresh air, incredible views, nature right there. Rocky Drift is just gorgeous. We appreciated the cleanliness of the chalet, really friendly and helpful hosts, the ability to just 'be' in nature....did I mention the pool? Always clean and fresh swimming next to the river and gazing at forest on the surrounding hills whilst in the water - doesn't get better than that! Thank you Cheryl and your team!!

The Camping Sites are excellent. All the Staff are friendly and helpful. The ablutions are very comfortable because they are separate, each one got its own shower, basin and toilet. The scenery is unbelievable!!!

Great stay overall, great views and hot tub was great but need to be cleaned when there is guest coming or need to be one of the requets questions when you booking in.

Magical getaway, less than 3 hrs from Jhb!
We had a fantastic stay, host was super friendly and helpful, on call, cottages was newly furnished, had all the basics, limited Wifi, but enough for emails and Watsapps, could watch rugby at the restaurant, meals there upon request, emergency lighting around the premises during load shedding but not in the unit so take your torches, breath taking walks and river views, enough stunning swimming spots along the multiple pristine river crossings along the way for the hot summer day walks in the cool drinkable river water, and for our old doggies first outing, the residents dogs were fantastic and welcoming and friendly and they and our normal kids just loved the venue. Keep up the good work guys!

Went for a midweek break. The host’s Cheryl & Hans welcomed us, and took care of all our need's. The unit with the hot tub was a bonus. The resort is pet friendly and our little pup 🐶 made some new friends and enjoyed the beautiful hiking trail with us. The resort is peaceful with amazing views. Chef Mitch prepared amazing food, that we enjoyed while drinking a glass of wine next to the river. Will definitely return.
