This is a truly special place. The design, the staff, the location, the comfort, the food, the care in all the small details, the sense of being home away from home. I honestly cannot recommend Beit Tamanna enough; I'd need more stars than given to me. And also remember they support local charities, so you are really doing a service for the city and the people of Lebanon.

The most amazing place in Beirut to stay- a must for people who care about beauty and details. The Beit Tamanna is part of a project to help children with severe deseases, perfectly situated for a visit in Beirut.. All the beauty within the house is due to the support of Lebanese artists and designers. Corine runs the house with great attentiveness and hospitality. What a wonderful Lebanese breakfast ....A heartfelt pleasure to remain in this unique place 💚

A gem of a place to stay, highly recommended. The design of the building is truly one-of-a-kind, with individual decor schemes in each room and great use of the space, including cosy lounges on every floor. It truly is as dramatic as the photos on the website. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff really friendly, with Corinne leading a helpful team. The location is excellent, with the Gemmayzeh area having almost a southern European-style relaxed evening feel. Best of all though is the motivation behind the project, of renovation and supporting a Lebanese charitable cause. I hope to get to stay here again. Three nights wasn’t enough!

Everything is beautiful from the decoration to the reception. Go there without a doubt. Not only is it beautiful but you are helping a good cause: helping sick children and their dreams. Super nice neighborhood in the heart of everything Thanks to Corinne’s welcome.

To all the staff - a big thank you. My 2 days stay in this not-for-profit guesthouse ideally located in the heart of Gemmayze was unforgettably the warmest of hospitality. Everyone who works at this guesthouse is committed to making your stay special, because ultimately this leads to Beit Tamanna achieving its vision of ‘wish’ giving to young critically ill children all over Lebanon. This place exceeded all that I read before booking..it is truly stylish and welcoming. I stayed in two different rooms and loved both of these. And 10 out of 10 for breakfast. This place is for the true travellers - those who abhor hotels, and want to support such an incredible not-for-money’ vision. Sincerely - Timothy (Australia)

Very cosy and super well located. Ask Corinne for tips and advice about Lebanon and Beirut over coffee. The staff is adorable and very helpful. Plus I was wearing the perfect colors that day! I felt part of the furniture :)

A magical house, full of humanity and generosity, beauty and taste. A perfectly central and discreet place at the same time Totally exclusive: there are eight rooms... The staff is absolutely perfect, just perfect; the sublime breakfast The rooms are small but there are very beautiful lounges where you can work while drinking rose tea... And what's more, by booking at Beit Tamanna, you help a foundation to do good to sick children -- to "transform their tears into smiles"
