Lage direkt am Waldrand sehr wohltuend. Bietet sich prima an, als Ausgangspunkt für die Seghenswürdigenkeiten der Region rund um denn Kyffhäuser. Abiente sehr schön, mit dem mittelalterlichen Schlossteil und den sich darum gliedernden Bauten aus dem 16./.17. Jahrhundert. Ich konnte da die "Schandbauten aus DDR Zeiten komplett ausblenden. Einzelzimmer genügsam, aber geräumig. Schlossterasse mit prima Aussicht. Gefehlt hat auf jeden Fall ein Ort in der Nähe, der an einem warmen Sommerabend kühle Getränke und etwas zu Essen anbietet. Restaurant nur für Veranstaltungen geöffnet - momentan. Frühstück gut standesgemäss. Leider wurde beim Check In nicht mitgeteilt, dass es im "Roten Salon" Getränkekühlschränke gibt.

Waren in einer Renovierungsphase dort, die Heizung war wohl schon 14 Tage aus gewesen. Zimmer sehr sehr kalt. Zimmerausstattung unterschiedlich, teils renoviert. Einzelzimmer war gerade noch OK mit den Flecken auf dem Teppichboden, Doppelzimmer sehr groß (und entsprechend noch kälter) Frühstücksräume und Frühstück sehr gut, WLAN war ok, Treppenaufstiege sehr eng, eben ein altes Schloss.

Viel tegen. Doorgezakte matrassen. Heel weinig warmwater uit de douche. Douchen niet te doen dus ondanks melding niets aan gedaan. Ontbijt basis maar prima. Wifi niet altijd aanwezig. Ambiance wel erg goed. Helaas restaurant alleen open bij groepen vanaf 10 personen en vooraf aangemeld
