We stayed a couple of days at Lauswolt for our wedding anniversary again, and spoiled ourselves with a 5-course dinner at the (Michelin star) restaurant and excellent wines. The hotel itself is quite small, with a limited number of (large) and well-equiped rooms, although the beds are rather firm to our taste. The wellness facilities (massages) were appreciated, as was the pool. The weather was great, so we enjoyed our time outside. A few more sunloungers would be useful, and too bad there is no waitress service there. The hotel bikes are pretty good too (normal or e-bikes, we used the normal ones). Not cheap (obviously), but in our view well worth the money for a luxury getaway.

In 1981 we married at Residence Lauswolt. Now, 44 years later, we got from our children a culinair stay; we enjoyed It from begin till end!

Heerlijk vertoeven in dit geweldige landhuis, omgeven door veel groen, fiets mogelijkheden heerlijk en wellness, dineren , lunchen alles even luxe en relax. Heel leuk om samen meet een vriendin even ertussen uit, al is het maar voor 2 daagjes en een nachtje. Het voelt dat je een week op vakantie bent geweest.

Met 10 vrienden en familieleden mijn 70ste verjaardag bij lauswolt gevierd; gisteren met een grote glimlach thuis gekomen: behalve dat de plek heerlijk is, de golfbaan prachtig en we enorm genoten hebben van het heerlijke eten, was de vriendelijkheid en de gastvrijheid van alle medewerkers bijzonder: van de ontvangst bij de trap, de receptie, de gastheer bij het diner tot de de begeleiding bij het ontbijt!

uitermate fijn verblijf gehad, voldoende en vriendelijk personeel, goede restaurants, uitgebreid ontbijt, mooie ontbijt zaal, mooie omgeving, fijne welness en zwembad, voldoende voor de fitness, prettige ruimte naast de lobby om te kunnen werken. Kom zeker een keer terug als ik in Friesland moet overnachten.

Our first visit to Lauswolt, a surprise for my partner, was a fantastic experience. The setting of the whole is very pleasant and quiet, the room was very comfortable and spacious, excellent bed, as well shower as bath, balcony; in- and outdoor pool, enjoyable meal in an excellent restaurant that merits its star and score. Fabulous breakfast. All the staff very kind and helpfull. Very nice price/quality relation. Must be recommended!
