Superb stay! Cannot fault Nette and Colin who gave us such a great welcome. Thank you! Room extremely fresh, clean and comfortable. High quality linen and towels. Breakfast choice excellent and caters for all - and delicious! Durham House is in a perfect, picturesque location for a short or long stay exploring the Jurassic Coast. Range of local restaurants and bars to choose from - all only a short walk away. Arrival and departure instructions very clear. Nette on hand to answer any questions and to make sure you are happy and comfortable. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending! Thank you again!

Nette and Col are the perfect hosts. Beautiful B&B, comfy and clean rooms with all your needs catered for. A great location and superb breakfasts. Beer is a beautiful village to visit. We will definitely be returning!

Second stay here and again was everything we wanted. Received a lovely welcome from Nette. Rooms are really comfortable and the breakfast is great. Bonus of receiving car park pass for returning guests or stays of 4 nights or more. Already booked for next year and has become our go to venue when visiting Beer. Thank you Nette and Colin for being excellent hosts.

A very friendly and well run B&B in a very beautiful village. We stayed for 5 nights and will definitely be going back. The breakfast were delicious and room was very comfortable with a lovely view out over the village, Nette and Colin were fantastic hosts.

We have stayed in lovely Durham House for a few years now usually in early June. We love the room overlooking the main street and try to book it for our yearly stay. Colin and Nette are great hosts and make us feel welcome every time. The hotel is spotlessly clean and caters for your every need and is ideally situated for all that is on offer in Beer. Beer has good restaurants including Steamers for those special occasions, The Smugglers kitchen and Gina's. Thank you to Colin and Nette for yet another great stay in our favourite little seaside village. Enjoy your hols in New Zealand!

We enjoyed our stay at the Durham House Hotel. Communication was great from the moment it was booked to the arrival day. The hotel is a short walk from the beach, car park, places to eat and drink.
The hosts are friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with large soft towels provided. Lovely choice for breakfast, good quality food and nicely cooked.

Absolutely fabulous. The Hotel was very well decorated and clean, the room was excellent so was the breakfast and Nette the host was so welcoming. Highly recommended. We visit Beer on a regular basis but have never stayed at Durham House before, but will do in the future.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation. The room looked out over the main high street and perfectly located for everything in beer. Just a short stroll down to the beach, going past all of the shops, restaurants and pubs on the way. The room was spot on. The bed was large, the shower modern and the breakfast was simply 10/10. The family owners snd staff were all amazingly friendly and helped us to learn more about the local area. Great stay and will definitely come back.
