The room is generally clean and the equipment is relatively old. I personally prefer hotels with bathtubs and balconies, so I always book a room on the first floor. The room space is just right. The hotel has bicycles for rent and the outdoor environment is very good. Therefore, Apeldoorn is an alternative hotel when I come to Apeldoorn many times. .

Mooie ligging tussen bossen. Wel rekening houden met
trappen naar ontbijtzaal.
Als personeel te verkouden, te hoesterig, te ziekig zijn zou het beter zijn thuis te blijven i.v.m. groot besmettingsgevaar en hygiene, ondanks de solidariteit onderling. Dit kan echt niet, hoe goed ze ook hun best doen.

Verouderde verblijven en matige bedden
De kamers (‘homes’) zien er leuk uit. Helaas is de werkelijkheid dat het verouderd is. De bedden zijn matig, matras is al oud en wat doorgezakt. Kussens die standaard op de kamer liggen zijn erg dun en klein.
Badkamper zaten scheuren in het plafond. Bij de kleine douchecabine zat geen deur of iets waardoor de vloer erbuiten zeiknat werd.
Het personeel was vriendelijk en het ontbijt voor €14 vond ik vrij klein, maar wat er lag was verder prima. Enige nadeel is dat je MOET reserveren, wat je vrijheid ontneemt.
Voor een keten als Fletcher mag je meer verwachten.
