My husband and I stayed in the Juliet Cottage for 2 nights. It turned out to be a very cosy, tranquil place with all the things one needs (and more) – one just needs to bring some food (when inclined to self-cater) or just eat out at the local or Pemberton restaurants. We slept very well in the very comfortable bed and enjoyed being woken up by the many birds. When we were there Ken had a new WiFi set up for the guests, if one wishes or needs to keep in contact. Bev and Ken made us very welcome at their special place.

We’ve been going to Beedelup House Cottages since 2006 but won’t be returning. It’s not luxurious, super clean or modern, but it’s quaint and secluded. We stayed in Maid Marion and the spa was a big draw card. The water was brown for the entire stay, despite bringing this to their attention. So we didn’t use the spa and didn’t drink the tapwater (having to go into Pemberton to buy water instead). I was given a small discount for three days of brown water, which was quite disappointing as normally we’d relax in there every night with a glass of wine and I felt a bigger discount was warranted. The place is rundown as you can see from the curtains in the photo and the brown water did not make it a pleasant stay.

I liked the wild life coming to our unit in the mornings and evenings. I loved the forrest within 40 metres of our unit. The peace with no one around.

Charming, tranquil and a delightfully quirky (just like the owners), these cottages and the surrounding area have heaps of positive energy and enough low-key, wholesome experiences with which to build your stay. The owners unexpectedly and voluntarily reduced the price of our stay as there was a misunderstanding on our booking (though we think they were just being nice to be honest). Thank you. We needed this break and we will be back!

We enjoyed 4 nights in the Hansel Cottage. So relaxing with a comfortable bed, lovely spa bath, and a private balcony with an abundance of bird life. I loved the easy access to beautiful walks around Beedelup Lake. You feel like you are in a fairytale and it was very difficult to leave such an idyllic place.

This place is excellent!!! Myself an my partner has stayed at this location for a couple of days an I wish it could have been longer!! The well layout cottages with every you need even if you have forgotten something they will have it, while you are surrounded in quietness an the wild life around you is something else, so thank you for my experience. would recommend to everyone to visit, as you have a trout farm down the road an that just makes the trip even more fun!!!!
