2 stars Room Service was offered but never actually received. I requested room to be cleaned (or at least beds made up). That wasn’t done because there wasn’t enough staff. Also, stingy with towel service. Didn’t get another shower mat…Had to step out on bare floor… However, the breakfast was good.

Property, in general, was very nice. Paid quite a bit on upcharge because of soccer tournament in town. Not really a price I would pay, but had few options. Unfortunately, went to take shower in morning and found dirty towels with blood on them in the shower. Really unacceptable. Would have complained at desk, but nobody to be found there.

While on a bus trip, we stayed at this hotel on two different occasions. Check-in was easy. The hotel was expecting us. They gave us a bottle of water and a cookie when we arrived. The rooms were very big compared to other hotels we stayed in on this trip. The bathroom was very long and narrow. It had a huge counter which was great in more than one person wanted to do hair or make-up in front of the mirror. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. There was construction going on in this hotel, but we never heard any noise from it. There was a good breakfast included with our stay. The attendant was friendly and helpful. She kept everything cleaned and even picked up the dishes from our table before we had a chance to do it ourselves.

The actual hotel is about average, but good for the price for a Choice Hotel member. It's also a good location for area attractions; especially in Fairfield, a good neighborhood & not too far from the Ohio Riverfront. What we LOVED about the place was having lengthy conversations every night with Front Desk guy KC and in the morning with Breakfast Attendant Bonnie. I totally LOVE those two and will never forget them! They helped transform an average hotel experience to a terrific one!

March 15, 2025 visit The gentleman at the front desk apologized that the room we had reserved wasn't available (King/handicapped). I told him we didn't need handicapped. He was able to give us a King suite. However, this morning when my husband went to shower, there was no shower curtain and no ability to even take a shower, so that was disappointing. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was a nice sized TV. There is 24 hour coffee/tea/juice which was nice. The breakfast was very good, and the woman who took care of the breakfast service was so friendly. I thought she was the sweetest person I've ever encountered in that position. Overall, it was a good stay. It would have been great if we had a working shower.

My stay was alright. The reviews practically did a good job in describing the hotel. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, the food was ok, the carpet was old, stained and worn, the shower head was moldy and needs to be cleaned.
