Dawn Chorus Holidays

A wonderful place to stay inside and out! We had the most wonderful stay in the South Down Shepherd’s hut. We came as a a family of 2 adults and 2 young children. It was the perfect quiet place for us to stay. On arrival we were greeted with the most beautiful and well considered hut. It has everything you need and more in a small space that is extremely well designed so that it feels spacious and luxurious, the decor is beautiful. A lovely touch was the cupcakes, eggs and milk on arrival. The grounds were brilliant, our two young children loved the animals and it was great to be in a safe enclosed environment where they could explore freely. We woke up early to go and say good morning to the pigs and were lucky to collect some fresh eggs. The children loved playing with the wide range of outdoor games and using the bbq to cook dinner. A wonderful space inside and out for us to enjoy a wonderful relaxing as a family. We wished we could have stayed longer.

The most beautiful stay, owners are very welcoming and friendly. The shepherds hut was outstandingly clean, supplies everything you could have needed. My favourite part was the games they had which was definitely effective on a bonding retreat. Thank you for having us! We will for sure be returning.

The Shepherd's hut was fantastic. Everything you need and a cosy sanctuary when the rain is pouring down. Special mention for the delightful piggies that were pleased to see us whenever we went over to their pen. Thanks for a lovely stay. Andy and Dawn

Stayed in the shepherds hut this weekend, absolutely faultless, both Helen and Bob were on hand whenever we required, very easy to book with them, the site was immaculate as was the hut, could. It fault this at all. Will definitely be there again

Spotless, well equipt, comfy, staff where so so helpful, all round it was amazing, the extra touch of cakes, milk and eggs on arrival was lovely, you had everything you needed and more we can wait to come back and try out the safari tents and bring my dad to stay to!

Lovely relaxing few days away. We stayed in the Norfolk Horn Shepherds hut with wood fired hot tub. All amenities that we needed. Eggs, milk, tea, coffee and sugar in accommodation on arrival. Lovely home baked fairy cakes, were delicious. Helen and Bob, very welcoming and available if needed. Site was well maintained and well spaced out. Was such a welcomed break and just what we needed. Loved watching the goats and feeding the pigs. Visited local town of Beccles and enjoyed walk alongside the quayside. Took a trip to beautiful Southwold. Would really recommend and would love to come back with family/friends.
