Poste Montane Lodge by East West

We spent 9 days in Poste Montagne. Two days as hotel guests and 7 days in a timeshare unit. The two units were different in design but both clean, spacious and very comfortable. As others mentioned rooms have no AC but we were there beginning of September so this was not an issue. When needed we cracked the window open, that worked well. Breakfast was good but somewhat limited. Hotel is in a very good location, everything is in a walking distance. Importantly, people at the hotel are friendly. It is an old style hotel, with European charm. If you arrive with a car, you will enter the building at the basement level. You need to take the elevator to the first floor to check in. There is a sign at the basement table but it is not easy to read. There is a pizzeria in the building which is actually quite good. In general, this is a very good place if you are not looking for a modern hotel.

We had a wonderful time at Poste Montane and loved everything about it! The rooms were immaculate, very spacious, and provided a nice area to spend time with family. There was a lot of storage space, a mini refrigerator in each room, and robes for us to use, which was a nice touch.The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. There are only about 24 rooms in this resort, so it was small, but quiet. The parking was easy (and free since we traded through Interval). We used the spa and hot tubs at the Park Hyatt (across the street from PM), and although we did not use their exercise room, it was amazing! Poste Montane has an agreement with Park Hyatt for their guests to use their facilities, which includes a heated pool. We also used the small indoor hot tub at Poste Montane after e-biking for the day and it was very nice and clean. There was also a sauna that we did not use. The breakfast each morning was delicious and they served three different hot items each morning as well as fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, breads, and pastries. They also had waffle maker. The staff at the breakfast were very friendly and accommodating. Tuesday evenings they have complementary wine, a small variety of beer, and cheese and crackers for the guests. Our room overlooked both the street out front and the walking areas of Beaver Creek Village. It was perfectly located! We had the perfect location in the perfect resort and would not have changed a thing!

Hailey was so helpful in booking our 4th of july stay! Entire staff was friendly. Cleanest hotel laundry room I have ever seen!

We went for the Blues Brews and Bbq Memorial Weekend in May. The three day event was lots of fun with great food and music. The lodge is in the heart of Beaver Creek Village and most conveniently located to everything...restaurants, ski lifts, Villar Center, ice rink/summer event area, golf, tennis, hikes, all are just steps away. Lodge is super charming with friendly staff, great beds, luxurious bedding, delicious hot breakfast, access to pool, hot tubs, fitness center....we will for sure be back.

I was surprised when I arrived and saw the hotel. it is much better than shown in the pictures! very spacious and nice surrounding.

Someone on TripAdvisor strongly suggested booking here. I do not recall if that influenced my decision but I completely agree! We have an every 3-4 year Colorado spring skiing trip and this is definitely where we will stay the next time. We were impressed with the property, the location, the grandeur, the breakfast, and especially the hospitality, knowledge, and professionalism of two great crew members Hailey and Scott. We simply loved our stay and agree with the previous poster to book this property!
