After 16 years I came back to this hotel and is very well kept rooms are clean not funky smells, bar was great and the service was good and friendly, on my check out day a front desk attendant names Justin was very knowledgeable and friendly, I will come back here for sure.

A very basic hotel. The room #223 was clean and the staff was friendly. The little extra things i come to expect when visiting Holiday Inn such as the soaps, mouth wash etc were all missing. Outlets for the desk area and for my C Pap machine next to the bed were no existent. The windows had what appeared to be splatters of mud on the windows which wasn't appreciated. The lamp in the corner of the room fell in a shower of sparks and landed on our 7 year old's head at 7 am while we prepared for the day. Thankfully he wasn't injured by I got shocked when I went to remove it as it was still plugged into the wall while the wires hung out of it. The staff seemed a bit dubious at first following me out the door to my car as I was about to drive my wife to a business meeting. The midnight desk employee ”Jeff” thought I was ”taking off on them” and said he had to ”keep track of me”. I thought that was strange as he had my credit card information already. I assured him that I was returning because I was going to make sure they weren't going to charge me for a busted lamp which nearly electrocuted our son. Later during check out, the day desk clerk announced they weren't going to charge me for the lamp which prompted me to laugh out loud. They are fortunate that my son didn't get injured. Over all, besides the lamp drama, and over reacting Jeffrey the desk clerk, the place served it's purpose. Would I return here? I hope not!
