After working a half day on Sunday, I fancied treating myself to a roast dinner. I was recommended this restaurant by a friend recently. The trio roast dinner was priced at £22.95, very reasonable. So a quarter of an hour later it was brought to my table by a young waitress. The restaurant was moderately busy, I chose a quiet area. The restaurant was well lit, cosy and peaceful. The oval plate had two Yorkshire puddings, cabbage, parsnip, carrot, swede and cauliflower. Also the plate had stuffing, beef, pork, turkey, gravy, roast potatoes and three pigs in blankets! The meal was fit for a king, a right feast. I opted for apple sauce and a pint of Guinness as my drink of choice. Excellent meal and great staff.

We waited for over half an hour for our food. When it arrived, it was awful. My burger was incinerated and looked like a lump of charcoal - I was amazed it was allowed out of the kitchen like that! I waited another quarter of an hour for a fresh burger, by which time my wife’s meal had gone cold. From the manager, “oh, your wife’s food should have been taken back too.” Perhaps better staff training is needed? This second delay was because they, “…had to heat up the grill again.” Really? We deliberately arrived early (12:10pm) so as to miss the busy lunch period ~ and indeed, there weren’t that many diners there….. so I’m struggling to see why they were so slow. First and last time we’ll be visiting.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Felt like old friends and we noticed that they were especially thoughtful with making solo travellers welcome. We had a room facing the street which was great as we loved watching all the coming and going in the road. We parked on the main town car park by the shore. Cost was £7.50 per overnight stay and there was ample space for everyone. Room was gorgeous, cosy and warm on the coldest of nights. The bed was lovely and comfortable with quality linens. Evening food was fine and breakfast was really nice, with excellent quality bacon and sausages. Overall has a really enjoyable stay, thank you.

We stopped by for lunch. The fish and chips were so good. Staff were very attentive and the whole experience was extremely pleasant.

We had a great stay here. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location and is also quiet at night. Staff were all friendly.

We had a lovely stay at The Bull’s Head Inn - situated in a historical building and also ideally placed to explore Beaumaris. The family room we stayed at was spacious and nicely furnished. The breakfast was nice and the hot food was cooked to order. We also enjoyed our dinner and drinks in the restaurant. The servers were all helpful and friendly too. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant, comfortable room with a main street view and within 100 yards of the castle. Can't speak to price as was with a tour group but certainly would come back here on my own if in Anglesey.

Recently and very unfortunately stepped foot in here for lunch, on a visit to Beaumaris. However, we decided to leave before even ordering, due to a very rude and dismissive male member of the waiting staff. What a shame such a beautiful looking pub was let down by shocking staff and a complete lack of basic customer service!
