I really enjoyed my visit to the Bishopsgate hotel. The staff were warmly friendly and welcoming. The food was exceptionally good. The room was warm and comfortable. Lovely atmosphere in restaurant particularly at breakfast. Thank you!

This is a faultless hotel: free resident's carpark, brilliant owner Hazel, superb professional staff, excellent room facilities which included chocolate, biscuits, bottled water, minifridge, and a carafe of sherry! Hazel the owner is also chef, and, wow, can she cook! Breakfast is cooked to order and consequently fresh, as opposed to the dreaded buffet that some more expensive hotels resort to. A beautifully presented and refreshingly different dinner menu, of comprehensive starters and main courses which featured chicken stroganoff, salmon, Thai curry, and always a nightly special. The hotel is a 3 star with AA awards over ten years for culinary excellence, richly deserved and again so much better than many hotels. There is a lounge and a licensed bar. Our room 6 faced the road but it was surprisingly quiet at night. This is the place to stay when visiting Beaumaris.

Recently attended a 60th Birthday Celebration and I can honestly say it was totally outstanding!! From the moment we arrived, Champagne reception, warm and welcoming and the tastiest canapés. Lots of space to mingle and chat to other people. Then we were called for our Dinner!! The food was absolutely delicious!! The presentation, the taste, the staff were all 5***** the most incredible evening and the staff could not of been more attentive and professional. Thank you to Hazel and all the team at Bishop’s Gate Hotel, The night really was “ Simply the Best” what a fabulous Party Venue … we will be back for sure. 5️⃣⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As we we're playing golf 🏌️♂️ ⛳️ locally we called in the restaurant for a full English breakfast, we weren't staying there just popped in for an early morning breakfast. Made very welcome by the host we thoroughly recommend a visit .many thanks excellent 👍

Beautiful room, nice little touches, like a decanter of sherry lovely hosts,Hazel takes some beating,food delicious, going again definitely,would recommend to anyone wanting a lovely stay, hotel very comfortable,and inviting,just perfect for a break or even longer

A very quaint and extraordinarily friendly, place to lay your head. We scored the last remaining room for the night, a small room with the cutest bay window for writing and looking at the sea. Our host, Hazel and her faithful pooch, Ringo are warm and welcoming. Well priced and real, ethical accomodation.

On way to a golf game and called in as a non resident after seeing board advertising breakfast from 8am and non residents welcome Ordered the full english and a round of toast A wait of 25 minutes or so but well worth it as everything on the plate freshly cooked - none of this pre-heated or microwaved stuff that some places serve
