This is a real home from home. The building is quirky but if you don't mind that, you'll be in for a treat. We had a superior room which was spacious, warm and very comfortable with the added bonus of a sea view. The staff can't do enough to help you, the food (we ate breakfast and dinner there) is delicious and plentiful. While it's at the far end of the street, it's only a few minutes' walk to the gaol, castle, courthouse and other bars and restaurants. We stayed for 3 nights but wish we'd booked for longer.

We stayed for one night, very friendly welcome. Stayed in rooom 3, deemed a "cosy" room-advised it was small, although when viewing it, although the ceiling at the window was quite low, it was a good size room albeit with a small shower room. It was very well appointed, and in fact a very nice room, and we felt good value for money. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast, and central location. Would definitely consider staying here again if back in Beaumaris

Traditional elegance and service! Stayed previously, some years ago, on our return we were relieved to find it as charming, elegant and traditional as we remembered. Hazel is a delight, funny, professional and efficient, as are her team in the Restaurant. The breakfast was by far the best we had during our 4 week tour of the UK, the evening meal we had was sublime! Thank you for a lovely week in our cosy, but classy room, we fully appreciated the age, quality and style.

Didn't think places like this were still around ...to say it's dated is an understatement...Like stepping back 25 yrs ...If going don't have room 3 unless you are 3 feet tall low ceilings ,wall paper peeling hairdryer you have to sit on the floor etc ..Also in my experience expensive especially the bar Food adequate...Faulty towers came to mind ..

We had an enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and tidy and we were served nicely cooked and presented food in the dining room. The car parking area at the back is a bit tricky and needs care to negotiate and the room was a bit old fashioned with a couple of minor paint chips but I'd be happy to recommend it.

We chose the location as we visited the island several years ago on our last trip to wales, we only had 1/2 day there and wanted to spend more time exploring the area. Bishopsgate house hotel ticked all the boxes on paper and didn't disappoint us. We received a warm welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed in room 4 at the top of the this beautiful old town house, under a multi sloaping roof which gave the space a quirky but cosy feel. We even got a view over the meni straight to Snowdonia from our little window. Due to the available roof space the sink was in the room rather than the ensuite (hubby was a little freaked out by this to start with - but it wasn't a problem) there was plenty of hot water for showers. The bed was comfy and the cleanliness of the room was excellent. The WiFi was good which helped us plan our days and we were able to locate some amazing ancient sighs to visit, and plan a couple of days out off the island. As we travelled by car, parking is a requirement for us, normally we end up staying further inland to secure accomodation with carparking. The car park is quite tight but can accommodate guests as long as everyone is considerate and parks well. We always managed to get into a space but it often took a lot of going back an forth to get the car into and out of the space. Breakfast was amazing, and set us up for a day of exploring. We ate in the restaurant 1 evening and the food was amazing! The location was great a a good base for exploring the area. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel, comfortable room, excellent food and lovely staff. We wished we were staying longer, probably the best hotel we have stayed in for a while, we usually try the local restaurants but the food was so good we booked in for dinner each day. Thank you to Hazel and your team - we wouldn't hesitate to book here next time we are visiting Anglesey.
