Great
GGuest UserThe Emerald is a very nice boutique hotel in Beaufort, SC. The location was very convenient to the downtown and historic point district. The room was comfortable with good amenities. I suggest adding at least one chair in the room and furniture for the cute outdoor balcony. I booked through Trip Advisor but I had to call to get the facility and room check in code on day of arrival.
GGuest UserReally enjoyed our stay. I only booked for one night though this app on accident and paid less by just walking to front desk. So I would call the hotel before booking through the app
GGuest UserThis hotel is in nice location in town, easy to get on highway. The room is much bigger than most of holiday inn, with big sofa, , refrigerator, microwave. It’s about 50 minutes drive to nearby Hilton Head Island, less than 2 hours to Savannah. Savannah is a beautiful ancient city. It’s worth a visit I’m downtown area. I highly recommend this hotel to my friends.
GGuest UserKeys didn’t work at first. Had to go remagnetize the key, that’s annoying when you’re tired. Lots of loitering out front. Most notable was that there were barely any guests. At about 10:30 pm, someone was trying to open the door. The top part was locked. I called the front desk and they came to apologize for trying to give someone else the room. How could that happen when we just checked in and they knew my room number because they just remagnitized my key? That’s shady and unacceptable.
