Beaufort Hotel

Wonderful room with a great view. The service was amazing. I highly recommend the valet service! Chris, Sasha, Jan and the entire valet crew always had our vehicle waiting on us anytime we requested it. Always referring to us as sir and ma’am! I think it was the best hotel experience we have ever had! Best of the best!

Enjoyed a relaxing brunch overlooking carrot island. The scenery was unbelievable and the breeze delightful. We enjoyed the charcuterie board and the omelet. The restaurant staff was very kind, but chief among them was our server, Jeff. He was very attentive and kind!

I didn't get a chance to stay there. I couldn't get past making a reservation. The woman I talked to when I called to make a reservation made several mistakes when writing down my name, email address, credit card number, etc. I spoke slowly and clearly, and she still wrote down everything wrong. I had to go over everything twice. She had rooms, then checked and didn't, then changed the room location, then finally changed the price. I've never experienced such incompetence when attempting to make a reservation at a hotel. I sent a review of my horrible experience and received a message from Erika Hernandez, one of the supervisors. She made a feeble attempt at making excuses for her incompetent help. She made no effort whatsoever to rectify the situation. When I explained to her exactly what had happened, she implied I didn't make myself clear when making my reservation. This hotel needs major changes in their approach to customer service. K Penn

I can't begin to tell what a magical experience we had. To start, the facility was beautiful. During the day there is lots of activity being close to the water, lots of boaters and people walking around in and on the lawns of the hotel. What made the experience exceptional was the staff. Our first night, we ate at 34 degrees North, which is the hotel restaurant. My wife had scallops and I had a Thai dish topped with sirloin steak. Holly was our server, she was great at making use feel comfortable and made great suggestions for dinner. We met some nice guests too. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco for a young couple. Erika at the front desk helped coordinate this, but suggested adding chocolate covered strawberries as a compliment from the hotel for doing such a nice gesture. The list goes on and on, Valet service personnel, Bar tenders, etc. After our first night, I booked the 3rd night, the 2nd night I booked the 4th night. We will be back again and again.

Valet team exceded my expectations Farron and Patrick were very nice and professional. Communication was amazing. You be deluged if they help you.

We stayed at the Beaufort Hotel for two nights in between a camp pick-up and camp drop-off. We checked in on a Friday afternoon (first mistake!) and was told our rooms weren't ready yet, which was to be expected given that it was around 3pm when we arrived and not quite 4pm when check-in is. Since we were traveling with our family of 5, we needed two rooms (and had requested that they were next to each other when we made the reservation). It was a very busy weekend as they were hosting a rehearsal dinner on Friday evening and a wedding/reception on Saturday, and you could tell that the front desk was overwhelmed with all of the guests checking-in that afternoon. Our rooms weren't ready until 6pm that evening, which threw off our entire evening. The front desk staff was apologetic, and we were told that the issue was that they were waiting on clean sheets for the bedrooms. We were offered drink or breakfast coupons after around 1.5 hours of waiting, which was helpful - I just wish we had been offered that right when they knew that we would be waiting over 2 hours for our rooms. When we finally were able to check in, we were given our two rooms, however, they were seperated by a room in between. And come to find out that there are in fact connecting rooms (although we were told when I made the reservation that the hotel does not have connecting rooms). Besides the frustrating check-in experience, the hotel is very pretty, and the rooms were clean and spacious (we really enjoyed the nice bathrooms as well). We also had dinner at 34 North on Saturday evening, and we had the best server, Shannon. She was so personable, gave wonderful food and drink recommendations, and was so wonderful with our children. The valet team was also so busy and they really did hustle when we requested our vehicle (even in the pouring rain!). While we enjoyed our stay, I would be hesitant to stay here again if we were checking-in on a weekend.
