Chateau Elysium

The property is beautifully located in close proximity to the beach. The two houses we stayed in were spacious and nicely furnished. The common area with the pool is very inviting, and there are plenty of sun loungers around the pool. The property is guarded, and we felt very safe. The welcome was extremely friendly, and the staff were very helpful. When we left for La Digue, we were able to store our luggage without any issues. We will definitely come back – highly recommended! A slight drawback is that cleaning has to be paid for separately, and the PET bottles were not disposed of, which started to pile up in the house after a few days.

I spent 5 days in the second half of May during my honeymoon. Location is excellent. The hotel is directly on Beau Vallon Beach, you literally just have to walk out of the garden, which is also beautiful by the way. I liked the vibe of the building and enjoyed the big swimming pool. The owner, Peter and the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Their breakfast and creole dinner are excellent. Peter made us delicious welcome drinks too. The room and the bathroom were nice and spacious. The air conditioner worked perfectly. Some renovation on the building and the rooms will, however, be necessary in the near future. Supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance. In my opinion, Chateau Elysium is an excellent and budget-friendly alternative to a luxury hotel on Beau Vallon Beach. You have a comfy room , you have a great breakfast, you have a big swimming pool usually just for yourself, the beach is 1 minute away from your room, and plenty of restaurant options nearby. The hotel has security personnel too. Ok, there is no gym like in a five-star hotel, but do you need a gym when you are in the Seychelles? Come on. I would book again. This is a delightful property with pleasant and attentive staff. The location is perfect, being directly on the beach in the middle of the beach and close to all restaurants. The room was large and clean with a wonderful veranda and view of the ocean. Breakfast was tasty. I would definitely recommend this property.

The venue was lovely. Right on the beach. Breakfast was incredible. Freshiest of fruits!!

We stayed for a week end of December in Chateau Elysium and thoroughly enjoyed our stay as we were right on the beach. We booked the 3 bedroom villa which was really immaculate and perfect for our family Chhabi & Susmita made our stay so comfortable and were always available for any help or suggestions. On top the food they serve is amazing. Really enjoyed some of Creole chicken curry & fish !!

We spent almost week at Chateau Elysium. Its very good located on north side of Mahe, near beach House has small but nice pool. Plase is very good maintened, and we had a nice stay there, Owner is very kind and helped us with many things. We are dinner at this place which was delicius and tasty. Great place
