I have been excited for this trip since I booked it in February. Super excited for the isolation of renting a cabin. I show up September 9th to stay and I'm given a room on the first floor filled with other people which was exactly what I wanted to stay away from. The desk clerk (who was very nice) called the manager and was told I was 'upgraded' to a first floor room because it's nicer than a cabin. There was never any kind of communication with me about a change in plans. I never would have made this reservation had I known it was going to be a regular room and if they had made any attempt to let me know I would have canceled and stayed somewhere else. Pretty sad this is how they conduct business! I would not stay here again.

Everything about Exit Glacier Lodge was great. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our check-in was easy and fun, and our breakfast was delicious and Todd was great! Our cabin was very cozy and cute. We will definitely stay again when in Seward.

Small room, no furniture to put clothes in, no air conditioner, no elevator, the room had an unpleasent smell, no attention to detail. Big pot holes in entrance driveway to parking, so big you could not avoid them. Property looked like a junk yard,I think by design due to the Sanford and Son painted on the abandoned truck. I've never paid SO much for so little.

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights at Exit Glacier Lodge. It has a very Alaskan feel. We love finding hotels that aren't your typical chain hotel, so Exit Glacier Lodge definitely fit the bill. The hosts are all very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It's rustic, so don't think resort hotel. There is a restaurant next door which we would recommend. We would definitely go back.

We checked in to Cabin #2. There were weeds growing all around the cabin and the picnic table outside was in terrible shape. While the inside was clean, the cabin appeared to have been built with bits and pieces of leftover materials. There is a block of something holding up the bathroom sink. The walls were pieced together with what looks like random pieces of wood. The TV didn't work, and the WiFi was horrible. We expected more than this for the price we were charged!

Our stay at the Exit Glacier Lodge was comfortable and convenient. We stayed in Cabin #2, which was clean but very dated. We would stay there again if life takes us back to Seward.

This was our favorite stay on our Alaskan trip. Todd and Madison were so accommodating. The room was very pretty and it was clean. My husband loved that they had Roku and he could watch his LiveTV, lol. The atmosphere here was just so friendly and hospitable. We were just so pleased here.

We booked the Loft for 5 people, which was perfect. Laundry facilities and Netflix incredibly helpful. Very clean. Lovely owners. Perfect for family. Beds like rocks, but grateful for lovely stay...
