Love this pub/restaurant and spend quite a bit of time here throughout the year, we find the food on the whole to be nice food, with the exception of a few dishes. We called in one Saturday afternoon for a few drinks in the beer garden, there was a band on and the atmosphere was great and the sun was shining so we decided to stay for a few more drinks. We both felt a little peckish but did want a full meal so I ordered a portion of chips, the price £4:50 which I thought was quite expensive but there was entertainment on so what the hell, however when the chips arrived I was absolutely astounded to be presented with a small dish of of exactly 16 chips. While I am aware that everything has increased in price over the last year, this is a really beyond a joke.

The craster arms is our local and we often call in for a pint or 7 This evening we had booked a table for 6 of us for our 5th wedding anniversary. Easy booking system either over the phone or online. Food was beautiful, fresh and large portions. The seafood medley was unreal, fresh and just the right balance of garlic and herbs. The sirloin was cooked to perfection! The gammon was the best the mother in law has apparently had and the grilled fresh pineapple paired perfectly. The fish and chips went down a treat with the children. Beadnell blonde is our favorite really ale! Service was top notch, big shout out to Euan and Drew . Very attentive, friendly and professional. I know there is a local challenge to find staff and they went above and beyond - they both are a credit to the business. Thank you again for a lovely evening and we will be back tomorrow for the live music!

We came here before about a year ago and that visit was fantastic with great service and food. However we returned and holiday and were left feeling very disappointed this time. The service was very slow and we had to wait nearly an hour for our food to come out, tables that ordered some time after us were getting the food much quicker. Also the serving staff has an air of stress to them and kept moving people from one table to another to try and accommodate a larger group that never turned up. Asked for the bill 3 times and after 30 minutes it eventually turned up. The food was also below the previous standard and was only s warm with berry over cooked beef. We won’t be going back here again as there are far better establishments in the area

Had a lovely lunch at The Craster Arms yesterday..We have eaten here many times over the years, when on holiday it was nice to be given a friendly welcome by the bar man and welcomed us saying it was nice to see us again Lovely food , lovely service. Always been the same here. A firm favourite with us. Thank you.

A lovely pub found in the heart of Beadnell Village, fantastic for a few drinks in the beer garden. We received table service from a team of dedicated, friendly staff. We were disappointed to miss out on the live music as the timings that were advertised on the website were a bit ambiguous, but we still had a nice time here. We will hopefully be returning for the pub quiz on Wednesday, where I hope we will be welcomed with open arms. We will not be returning for food, however. At £15 - £30 per dish, we simply cannot afford it.

In the heart of the village, fantastic pub with large pleasant beer garden. Great atmosphere with efficient friendly staff. We returned to eat in the restaurant a few days after our first visit. It was busy mid week which was a good sign. Food and service was excellent. Nothing to fault with this super friendly pub.

Sadly our experience was well below what we are use to. Table not ready, took an hour and a half before food arrived. Prefer to cater for bigger groups, staff run off their feet. Typically rather cater for holiday makers than locals. Food average.

Hotel staff are absolutely amazing. Answered my (many!) pre-visit questions quickly and were incredibly helpful. They were also flexible re check-in times etc. Special thanks to Claire Grey - unbelievably helpful! Would highly recommend.

We stayed in our motorhome in the pub car park. We had a meal at breakfast at the pub and restaurant - absolutely superb! There was no charge for the stopover and no obligation to eat in the restaurant. We’d love to go back and can definitely recommend it x
