Horta of Valencia Beach Hotels

"If you are traveling by car and spend one night in Valencia, it is recommended to stay here if you just want to rest for one night. Otherwise, it is not recommended for the following reasons: Location: There are gas stations, Carrefour, fast food restaurants, and outlets next to the hotel. It takes 5 minutes to drive to the beach. The hotel parking lot is large, free and sufficient, and the location is very convenient. Facilities: The facilities are relatively old, and the bathroom is not equipped with shampoo, etc., which needs to be prepared by yourself, but fortunately the shower equipment is relatively advanced and the water is also very large. Hygiene: The quilt has no quilt cover, and there are some blood stains that have not been cleaned up. The sheets are clean but the cotton in the quilt core has become a bunch of lumps. Noise; there were students on a study tour on the day we checked in, and the lobby was very noisy (it was okay at night) Because I am not very sensitive to noise, I can't comment. Service: The attitude of the hotel front desk is quite friendly. The room is arranged on the first floor (the lobby floor 0), and the high-rise building will be better"

"Hotel 150 meters from the metro and/or bus, and therefore quickly in the center of Valencia. Breakfast tried once but I didn't think it was worth €9.50. There is a great breakfast/lunchroom around the corner. Swimming pool you need a bathing cap ;) beds nice sanitary facilities great hygiene is top! You can park your car reasonably in front of the door, there is a paid parking garage."

"Amazing Hotel, excellent location in Ruzafa area with lots of restaurants. The staff were very helpful especially in changing the room, kettle, and towels. The breakfast and staff serving were excellent. Nice egg white Spanish omelette and the fresh orange juice was awesome. Very happy and would visit anytime again. The fallas festival was super lively especially the street bbq, lighting , food and drinks caravans and the decorations were super. Alot of effort put in. Fireworks were amazing at 2.00pm every day. The crowd was lively."

"Really pleasant stay at this hotel. Can’t comment too much on the amenities as I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but the room was comfortable and clean. Walking distance from the City of Arts and Sciences, and metro station."

"We booked this hotel for its location, the fact that they offer half board or even full board and the bus stops right out side of the hotel that takes you into Valencia. We chose a superior double room and half board we also booked lunch for Christmas day at a cost of €70 for two people. We took a taxi from the airport at a cost of around €40 which was a bit expensive really but fast and friendly. When we arrived although our room wasnt ready we made use of the restaurant for some lunch which was ok. The receptionists are lovely very friendly and willing to help We got the keys to our room and I have to say Whilst the room was a good size there was nothing superior about it there was only a hanging rail for clothes no drawers ? I was wondering if they expect guests to hang their underwear up too ?? Another thing that puzzled me was the kitchen unit which has been installed ! With a sink fridge and kettle now whilst the fridge was very welcome drawers for clothing would be more useful. They provide a kettle and cups and left enough coffee and tea for one cup each we sayed for 10 days and this was only replenished once if your not going to replenish it daily I wouldnt bother leaving any!. The bathroom was lovely with a large shower but I agree with a previous reviewer that all the little plastic bottles are not very environmentaly friendly maybe an idea to install dispensers for hand soap and shower gel etc which can be re filled daily. The only thing that was amazing was the bed the mattress was great and extremely comfortable . Breakfast in the restaurant was nice and a good variety,but the evening meals in the restaurant were disappointing, the restaurant whilst attached to the hotel is really for the general public and the menu they offered was the same for the entire stay which for 9 nights there was no variety two thirds of the menu is fish which I dont eat ! The vegetarian options were unavaialable or discontinued and rice dishes only available if two people want to eat the same dish which limited my choice substantially although I enjoyed most of the food it got a bit repetitive after 4 days ! And the deserts were tiny portions served in the middle of a huge plate its not an a la carte restaurant ! We had also booked lunch for Christmas day and at € 70 for two people I was expecting great things this was unfortunately not the case the portions of each course were tiny I had ordered the pork for main which came with some mash This would have been ok but what looked like a nice plate of food turned out to be a small portion of mash with some pork bones and very little meat the only savior to the meal was the tiramisu which was delicious they did offer all tables a free plate of prawns not sure why ?!! This we declined as I dont eat fish lucky for me ! My partner ate two and I had to ask him to put the pate far away from me as the stench coming from the plate was awfull this should have sounded alarm bells needless to say late"

"We had a lovely 4 night break at the hotel Neptuno. The room was comfortable and clean with complimentary tea and coffee and it had a fridge with complimentary water, fanta lemon and coke. The breakfast had a good selection of fresh fruit, meats, hot food, cakes etc. We enjoyed the omelettes and pancakes which were made to order. We went to the spa one evening which was very relaxing after a busy day sightseeing. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"Our experience here was a 10!! María, the girl at the reception, is very good at her job as well as an excellent person. He explained everything in detail, not only to us but to everyone who was staying there. It is next to the beach. There is public transportation to get to the city center. The bed is very comfortable. The room is very clean with some welcome chocolates. The hotel is very clean and smells very good. The only thing we have missed is more options at breakfast."
