"The lobby looks really nice but the rooms are really worn down. The facet in the bathroom looks like it’s a least 40 years old. The breakfast was good but lacked variety. The location is really good, right next to the beach. Overall, a pleasant stay."

"We had the first night of the dinner but the service did not hit any people and with a child on the arm of 1 year order and browns were not good. We never eaten there again and breakfast was expensive, so we went to the coffee bar and the rest also outside the hotel. The hotel restaurant combination is not OK hotel itself was all right friendly outside a girl with white hair that was always on the bar after 16 hours location was very perfect and quiet room at the back."

"Correcto, limpio y bien situado. Pero en recepción muy bien y muy mal. Una chica joven morena con el pelo largo un encanto, nos explicó todo, nos recomendo sitios para ver y comer. Muy amable y muy profesional. No así su compañera una señora mayor con el pelo rubio media melena que a pesar de ser mucho más mayor que su compañera no fue nada profesional. Cuando nos pidieron que firmáramos la proteccion de datos salía directamente a firmar y pedí leerlo primero. Que es un derecho que tengo. La chica joven muy amablemente lo buscó y nos lo puso y la señora mayor va y dice “uy si a ver si me dejan algo en el testamento” como burlándose de que quisiéramos leer el contenido antes de firmar, cuando todo el mundo debería hacerlo. Fue un comentario totalmente extemporáneo y fuera de lugar.Yo no lo he dado confianzas a esta señora para que se dirija a mi de esta manera, no es mi “colega” y yo soy una clienta ejerciendo un derecho que ella tiene que respetar. Un poco más de profesionalidad por favor que tiene edad más que suficiente para saber comportarse."

"The hotel is super elegant, clean and the breakfast that is included is good. Various cold cuts, fruits and sweets. The spa is very good. It is not big but sufficient. It is worth 10 euros. Parking is 10 too. It is worth it. It is in the center."

"Amazing hotel, stunning location, the food in the restaurant was very good. Close to shops and right on the beach, supermarket close by, everything’s in walking distance. No beach towels but lots of shops selling them, the beach is stunning one either side and accessible via steps, my room had a sea view I recommend booking this… it was an outstanding view"

SStewart ClasonWe had a perfect stay at Hotel Hostalillo to unwind after a week in Barcelona. The location is perfect. Tamariu is idyllic, a hidden paradise. There's a row of lovely restaurants that overlook the beach, all offering fresh seafood at good prices. The room was great at this price point - Air Con, Comfortable bed, Balcony with view of the beach and a Mini fridge to chill the wine/beers. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, a large choice of traditional fried foods, fruits, cereals, cold meats etc. Very good! We will be back!

JJavi MartinezWe stayed in the hotel to attend a wedding. All right, we arrived early and allowed us to park the car and access the facilities. All very clean and ordered. It's a lot expensive, but the area and the time are paid. They could have informed us about the bar or cafeteria service.

GGuest UserWe spent a weekend at Aiguablava Parador in Begur. We were a party of four people. The good points were the location, the rooms (comfortable beds, fabulous sea view, spacious rooms, nice amenities) the hotel is very spacious and tastefully decorated. The swimming pool, at the top end of the cliff, although not massive, is large enough and with fantastic views of the area. A very privileged position with views of Aiguablava cove and a private path down to the cove. Breakfast was varied and good quality in general and served in the breakfast room with gorgeous views. Freshly squeezed fruit juice and good quality coffee. The negatives were the check in experience, too long and with an inexperienced receptionist who lacked aptitude in the treatment of experienced travelers/customers and couldn’t get my name right. There was a general lack of coordination between departments (reception and restaurant) our evening meal reservation was not communicated to the restaurant either of the two days and my name was wrong in all departments from beginning to end even though the receptionist had access to my ID card and the online booking form. The evening meals were sub standard. Generally unpleasant food, tasteless fish and a dirty lukewarm brown sauce, packet custard-based deserts. Brick sized chunks of melon as fruit salad. Some dishes were inedible. A very limited wine list and very expensive wines. The service in the restaurant varied from pleasant to inappropriate with some comments from waiting staff demonstrating their inexperience and unsuitability to work in a hotel of this category, even though they were pleasant and kind at all times. On a final note, I requested by telephone if it would be possible to have some candles on a desert on our final evening as we were celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. The receptionist said it would be no problem but it was not communicated to the restaurant and forgotten. As there had been so many hiccups with communication in general I didn’t bother to even try to remind them.

GGuest Userperfect location We were two friends and we loved it because of the magnificent location in the center of Platja Daro and the beach. It is 1 minute walk. And the hotel has parking, but we think it is not useful since there is a place to leave it on the street and the area is good. We have repeated experience. The hotel has many services, animation and nursery, we do not use them but it should be taken into account. It is a hotel that we recommend
