We absolutely loved the city of Bayeux and our stay at Hotel Reine Mathilde! The room was large, with a small kitchen. The restaurant on site was delicious as well.

My family had a terrific stay here. Service was friendly and helpful, the room was simple, but clean and comfortable and had everything you needed, including a great coffee maker. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again!

Bayeux è una cittadina carina ma senza nessuna particolare attrattiva e perdipiù infestata dai turisti Per fortuna eravamo di passaggio Albergo decisamente caro per quello che offre: 170€ senza colazione per una stanzetta angusta. È vero che da un due stelle non puoi pretendere chissà che, ma considerando che i prezzi sono da quattro stelle speravamo in una qualità adeguata. Non c’è nessuna possibilità di parcheggio: i parcheggi pubblici nelle vicinanze sono strapieni e persino fermarsi un momento per scaricare i bagagli è un grosso problema. Evitate anche l’annesso bar ristorante Le Garde Manger, recensito a parte.

Nous avons séjourné à l’hôtel, coté maison de Mathilde. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la décoration est soignée et la literie de très bonne qualité. L’accueil du personnel était aussi très agréable. Le petit déjeuné était lui aussi très correct pour le tarif. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

This is one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 11-day trip to France. Parking is a challenge, but there are several lots and street parking nearby that are free after 7 pm until 9 am. We pulled right up to the front to unload and check in. Our room was out back, behind the restaurant, in a different building from the main hotel. It was up a short flight of stairs and was a lovely, spacious room. It came with all the things - coffee maker, fridge, water, and safe. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the shower and bathroom. Comfortable stay and the hotel is near to everything one needs to see. We walked everywhere in Bayeux. This is a wonderful home base for Normandy beach tours. Between us and the restaurant was a lovely grassy area set up with chairs and small tables where you can have cocktails and snacks. This was a great place to unwind! The staff was exceedingly friendly and kind.

Gezellig hotel, mooie kamers, vriendelijk personeel. Leuke ligging in het midden van de stad, op wandelafstand van een grote parking. De kathedraal is in de volgende straat. Het museum en het tapijt zijn ook op wandelafstand. Eind juni zijn er middeleeuwse feesten, aanrader, gezellig druk. Avondeten was in het bijhorende restaurant, we konden niet op voorhand reserveren, maar er was plaats. Goeie maaltijd gehad. Ontbijt was een buffet met ruime keuze.
