We had such a positive experience at this hotel that we decided to book it again for our last night in the Dominican Republic. The resort is peaceful, featuring saltwater pools, private sea access via a ladder, and crystal-clear waters. A special thanks to Elisabeth, who made us feel right at home and handled our requests with great flexibility and positivity. Breakfast is not a buffet but à la carte, with excellent quality. Amazing sunsets! The location is strategic for visiting Dominicus and Bayahibe. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.

The hotel is super central in the place. All you need is reachable in 5min (the place is not so large in itself) The checkin has worked super fix and the two booked rooms were also as shown in the pictures. Rooms work through the floor and furniture quite dark, but let nothing miss. Daily we were asked whether we wanted to clean the rooms. Owner José was a supporter and helped with all questions. When I come to this hotel, I'd like to come back to this hotel. Theme ”Noise”: whoever travels to the Dominican Republic will soon realize that the Dominicans like a little more loud. So here too. Not every evening, but always plays sound music and the sound motorcycles drive through the small streets. But this theme has nothing changed in the cozy atmosphere of the hotel. It is a ”usuality” that you find in many places. The only preaching of the church on Monday evening, which was to hear up to 23Uhr throughout the place, was new to me.

This “all inclusive“ is not, there are so many extras and there are no “real” restaurants, just outdoor areas for these restaurants, as well as the massage area And entertainment area. For the drinks, there are a list of cocktails that are part of the inclusive, A larger list of cocktails for purchase. And you have to get your drinks yourself, whether it’s at the buffet or at their “beach” area. The food, was mediocre at best; consistently overcooked and just warm. The property’s “beach” is a small, imported sand, area; We did, however, like that going into the ocean was off a small cliff with a ladder and that there were lifeguards in place. So that you could immediately snorkel or swim in deep water if you’d like. And there is Transportation, every 15 minutes, that will bring you to and from the local beach commencing at 9 AM to 5:45 PM. It is a very small property at the end of a lane and about a 15 minute walk to the local minimarts. The beds were hard and the pillows lumpy. Did we get Value for what we paid for this trip? No.

We had an incredible experience at Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus! The resort's stunning beachfront location, top-notch amenities, and exceptional service truly exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, and the entertainment options were endless. I highly recommend this tropical paradise for an unforgettable vacation! Good environmental protection

So I recently stayed at the Sunscape and must say the stay was enjoyable from dining, to the pool, and beach. I have stayed at many all inclusive and must say I really have no complaints. Yes there are some areas that could use a face lift but I saw crews working diligently to make those renovations. Would I stay there again. Most certainly and the butler we had Jose was absolutely amazing from sun up to sun down.

I have an upcoming booking for this hotel on 11/03-11/09, and so far the experience has been absolutely terrible without even staying yet. My wife, myself and my parents are booked for my sister‘s wedding that has 30+ guests. At first, the Hilton put us in the wrong hotel (family resort instead of adult resort), after claiming they had no rooms available at the adult resort even though they have multiple rooms available through the app, including upgrades. They told my sister- the bride, our 80-year-old father could walk back-and-forth in between resorts if he wanted to be with the family, which is 30+ guests. After multiple emails back-and-forth to several different managers from my sister and I, we finally got moved, never told and ignored via email when asked. I found out after I checked my Hilton app. Furthermore, as a gold member elite status they’re refusing to upgrade my room. They put me in the most basic room available. I have yet to be at one Hilton resort where I have not been upgraded me as a gold elite member. I’ve contacted the hotel multiple times at the email address provided with no response whatsoever. As of this date, they have still failed to respond to me and continue to have me the runaround. They also failed to respond to my sister after trying to get confirmation that all of the guests are in the correct resort. As a gold member elite, I frequent several Hiltons around the world. I am absolutely disgusted with this hotel resort, and I have not even stayed there yet. They deny, refuse, ignore guests. I will be contacting corporate… Jeffrey Cox
