Amazing stay and experience! Me and my girlfriend spent one night at the camp before going for a one-night trip to the black and the white desert, and we fell in love with the place, with Badry and with the other people who work there. The hospitality and kindness are unmatched, the location is stunning and their experience in the desert make Badry Sahara Camp an amazing choice for your stay in Bawiti and for visiting the white and black desert with some extra days of rest. Thank you to Badry and to everyone who made our experience unforgettable. We'll surely come back!

Expérience inoubliable à travers le désert a bord du 4x4 équipé pour bivouaquer. Très bon chauffeur, repas excellents cuisinés avec soin, les meilleurs que nous ayons mangés en Egypte. Paysages sublimes, campement et équipements confortables malgré le froid puis la chaleur. Très bonne organisation mais nous aurions souhaité plus d'anecdotes et d'explications sur les endroits visités. Guides un peu trop discrets bien que très agréables.

Abbiamo scelto di passare la prima notte nel campo dell'Oasi. Mr Badry ci ha accompagnato a vedere il vicino lago salato e le sorgenti di acqua calda dove abbiamo fatto il bagno. Molto belli i dintorni con possibilità di passeggiate sulle montagne sopra al campo e all'oasi dove si può vedere la vita quotidiana dei coltivatori delle palme. Abbiamo dormito in una casetta in muratura, spartana ma pulita. Il giorno seguente siamo partiti per un tour nel deserto nero e poi nel deserto bianco. Esperienza fantastica, ottima organizzazione. Panorami mozzafiato e notte in tenda sotto un fantastico cielo stellato. Bravi i ragazzi che ci hanno accompagnato e che hanno cucinato per noi. Assolutamente consigliato. Tutto perfetto.

A trip on the edge of the fantastic. A 3-day (2-night) desert trip that took us through the White Desert, Black Desert, through sand dunes and cold water pools. Poetry, stones and silence. It was just beautiful. Next time, with God's grace, we will embark on a longer journey, deeper into the desert.

We had a great experience, sleeping two nights on the sand, under the million stars on the sky. A SUV picked us up from the hotel in Cairo and brought us back there after three days. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The local guide was calm, friendly and discrete. Food, water and tea nicely served. The landscape was amazing, and running with that huge Toyota on the dunes was a crazy experience.

I did this trip with 2 friends at the end of October. We were picked up from Tahrir Square by car and then brought to the Black & White Desert by a different driver. He showed us all the highlights and we made some beautiful stops. Then we slept under the stars in the middle of the Black Desert, which was absolutely amazing. The food that was provided throughout the weekend was great and all in all, the guide took great care of us. It was thus an amazing weekend and I would for sure recommend it!

Nous avons contacté Badry grâce au lonely planet. Nous n’avons pas été déçus. La prise de contact via e-mail puis whatsapp a été très facile (Badry parle très bien l’anglais). Un chauffeur est venu nous chercher directement à l’hôtel au Caire puis nous a conduit jusqu’à l’Oasis où Badry nous a accueilli avec un super déjeuner. On est ensuite parti à bord d’un land Cruiser avec Mahmoud pour découvrir le désert blanc et camper dans le désert noir. Magnifique paysage, et expérience inédite (tente bédouine et dîner cuisiné autour du feu) Les quelques heures de trajet ont largement été compensées. Les couchers et levées du soleil étaient à couper le souffle. Nous recommandons cette excursion à 100%. La zone n’est pas du tout dangereuse comme pourrait le faire croire le classement rouge du désert par le gouvernement français. Des sorties sont organisées régulièrement, aucun check point sur la route, et la frontière et à plus de 500km. SAFE !
