Staff very friendly but not that attentive. Food was OK from a buffet perspective but you needed to reserve places at non buffet restaurants. Which as I was only staying for night wasn’t possible. The reset itself is tired. It needs a makeover. The rooms are comfortable but again old and in need of improvement. Communal areas are also tired. If you get a great deal it’s worth staying here but there are better options available, especially if you are looking for something special.

Had a great experience at Occidental Punta Cana. The food was good and the food choices were not too bad. The property was well maintained and the rooms were fairly cleaned.

Great place ! I love it! I’m a travel agent and everything met my criteria. I didn’t get to stay on property a lot because we had a lot of excursions. But we will come back

The only negative point is that most of the staff (at restaurants especially) are a bit cold and not friendly. To book services and restaurants you have to be very patient, they are a bit confuse and lack organization and practicing to the guests.
Besides that the place is really great!

Ha sido una estancia agradable. El servicio de atencion al cliente por parte del hotel ha sido satisfactoria en general. El todo incluido que ofrece era mejorable bajo mi punto de vista. Y por ese precio podía haber incluido el traslado. Instalaciones mejorables sobre todo el gimnasio que no es apto para ese hotel, se queda muy pequeño e inaccesible, parece un laberinto para poder entrar. Y el spa también se queda en muy pobre y ni siquiera incluido en la oferta del paquete de todo incluido con habitación superior. Cuando en España el 90% esta incluido ambos servicios, traslado y spa. Gran hotel gran cadena, pero mi cara de satisfacción por algunas otras cosas se queda indiferente por ese motivo...La variedad en el buffet de comidas tampoco era demasiada...se compensa con el trato al cliente y el entorno de playas vírgenes. Luego un detalle es la sobrepesadez en cuanto a vendedores ambulantes fuera y dentro del recinto...hasta con los masajes...
