This hotel is simply perfect. My husband said that he would go to Penang again for this hotel. In fact, it is flanked by Shangri-La and Hard Rock, both of which are big brands and should be good. The hotel is very close to the sea, but it also has two swimming pools, one of which is the children's favorite slide 🛝. The gym is great with beautiful wall paintings. Most of the hotel guests are white people, who bask in the sun there all day. It is also very convenient to take a taxi to go out and play, and the coastal bus can also be reached. We went to the spice garden nearby, and other botanical gardens and batik factories should also be good. From here we also took a taxi to Penang Hill. It took more than half an hour to drive. The taxi was not expensive, and the driver who could speak Mandarin would chat with us all the way. We booked a breakfast package with a very rich variety and a good environment. We ordered lunch once, which was delicious and acceptable, not outrageous.

It would be better if the management improved the dining space and assigned tables to guests to avoid the long, chaotic search for seating. Additionally, the attitude of the front desk staff was disappointing, which fell short of expectations for a five-star hotel.
