Great location and the rooms are spacious and clean. The only downside maybe the facilities can feel a little old due to the age of the hotel.

I've stayed here in Penang for two consecutive years. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We all love the swimming pool. The area is very lively at night, and the durian at the night market is delicious! The seafood across from the hotel is also good.

This hotel is a good option for Batu Ferringhi.
The location is good - near all the action, and right next to the beach.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The rooms are quite large - were had a sea view one.
The landscape is quite nice.

The hotel is generally nice and perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, the pool closes a bit early, around 7 PM, so if you're out during the day, you won't have much time to enjoy it. Across the pool garden is the beach, and the sunset is beautiful in the evening. A small path along the beach also connects you to the more expensive Shangri-La next door.
I forgot to take a photo of the room; it was average, nothing special to comment on. The bathtub wasn't very convenient.
The ecology is quite nice. Monkeys come to visit at 7 AM, so I recommend sleeping with the curtains closed so you can see them up close. The monkeys seem to be vegetarians and enjoy sunflower seeds. After the monkeys finish their meal, the pigeons come later to clean up the mess. 😂
The breakfast seemed okay, but nothing special. The front desk service was average and businesslike, perhaps due to the high number of guests when I visited. There's a free iced drink service at the front desk in the afternoon, which was quite good.

Just a few steps outside the hotel, you will reach the perfect location to watch the sunset in Penang.
The kids had a lot of fun playing in the water. I will choose this place again next time.
