After a long two days of travel, finally made it to the inn and was given a room with two double beds on the first floor facing away from the parking lot. Also at check-in, I was given a little bag with some water and goodies; that was very nice of them to provide. The room was pretty basic, tv, microwave and dorm size refrigerator, but the beds were really comfortably and it was nice and quiet, away from the road. The only down side to the room was the security bar to the door of the room would remain in the lock position when entering/exiting the room, so I had to make sure the door completely closed otherwise, anyone would have access to your room. Kind of a security, safety issue there. Also, there was only one washer and one dryer which you need quarters to utilize. I got my coins from the front desk. I really enjoyed the lobby area as there were ample amount of seating and tables, their was a large screen tv and this area is where breakfast was held in. There were outlets so you could sit down with your laptop, phone to do work, or to just get out of your room. I enjoyed the updated vibe of the space - very warm and inviting, almost forgot to mention the free wifi; and I actual liked the breakfast - hard boiled and/or scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, bacon, wrapped breakfast sandwiches, waffle station, oatmeal with variety of toppings, bagels, bread, English muffin, juice station, coffee station, fresh fruit. The inn does have a swimming pool but it was closed but the jacuzzi/whirlpool was working. They also have a small gym with a treadmill, elliptical and some weights. Next, hotel is located just off the highway and on a Main Street so the location was great. Near places to eat, mall area and gas stations. Also, the inn had lots of parking. The staff were friendly and accommodating with a late checkout for me. Overall, nothing fancy but sometimes simple is best.
