I was very well looked after here. The friendly staff went out of their way to make my stay in Batna enjoyable. It was Ramadan so in theory there was no breakfast, but they prepared a tray with coffee, eggs, cakes etc. They gave me exact instructions on how to catch the buses I needed to visit the Roman sites at Tazoult and Timgad. Both amazing btw. My room overlooked the Square with the beautiful theatre floodlit at night. It was quite cold weather but the room was lovely and warm.
