Consider it part of the country experience.- We are in the country and you may hear country noises, like coyotes, woodpeckers, crickets, cicadas, trains in the distance, and the occasional distant gunfire (especially during hunting season). This is Texas after all. Please do not shoot any firearms on the property.- Cell phone service is spotty at best. If you have Verizon you are out of luck, but AT&T works fine. We do have high-speed internet and wifi. Keep this in mind while you’re hiking.- While hiking, be mindful of barbed wire fencing, trip hazards, and falling branches.- There are several exterior security cameras that monitor the outside of the cabin. They help keep the cabin safe when no one is there. These cannot see inside the cabin.- We are on septic. Please do not flush any products other than toilet paper.
