A group of us stayed here as part of a motorcycle tour this September. Arranging this had been easy directly by e-mail, quick responses and all queries resolved. Arrangements for us to park our motorcycles securely had been made, as the car park is being renovated. The welcome and booking in was easy. The bar staff very friendly, we ate at the Mexican themed restaurant and the food was great. Rooms were clean and well presented. A great start to our trip.

Resent gerenoveerd zeer net hotel met heel vriendelijke bediening. Nette ruime kamers Badkamer met inloopdouche. Lift aanwezig. Er is een restaurant aanwezig met goede keuken met keuze uit Mexicaanse of traditionele maaltijden. Zeker een aanrader.

Our tour group was greeted by friendly and helpful staff. My room was very nice and I had no problem with anything there. You are steps away from many of the Bastogne museums and the main square, where you can find many restaurants and cafe's. Breakfast the following morning was about C. Some selection but cold eggs are not good. Make sure you find the microwave to heat them up.

Waren 4 Tage im Hotel Melba und sind begeistert. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals und die Sauberkeit sind vorbildlich. Hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse im 5. OG, absolut ruhig und geräumig. Großes Bad mit abgetrennter Toilette und Dusche. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Restaurant Melting Pot mit einer hevorragenden Küche und tollem Service und schönem Ambiente. Belgische und mexikanische Küche. Immer gut besucht, daher sollte man reservieren. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral an einer ruhigen Seitenstraße zu allen historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten und der Stadt Bastogne. Die Musseen kann man auch gut zu Fuß erreichen. Das 101. Airborne Museum liegt nur wenige Meter entfernt. Wir können das Hotel nur besonders empfehlen.

Second time to stay at this wonderful hotel. Came by motorbike and as others have said its ideal. The public areas are lovely, the bar area and restaurant have a great ambience and the breakfast room area perfect with buffet choice of breakfast foods to suit all appetites. We ate at the restaurant and the choice was as good as the standard of food and service. Great location for the short walk into the town centre, and for the bus station around the corner for the bus service to the war memorial museum. Rooms are large and well appointed with tea /coffee and a mini fridge with water. We love it here and will return again. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Staying at the Hotel Melba was perfect for both couples. We travelled on motorcycles and were allowed to leave the bikes undercover and secure close to the main door of the hotel. The rooms were very spotlessly clean with excellent facilities. The buffet breakfast choice was also excellent.

This hotel had excellent reviews. We paid €150 for an executive twin room. The facilities of the hotel seemed to justify the cost. We arrived at 15:00hrs We were told that we were lucky as this was the last available room in the hotel. At breakfast we spoke to another guest who was also told this arrived 3 hours after us. If the hotel was honest at the point of check in I would have gone elsewhere. The tea and coffee in the room were well beyond the best before date as they were one solid lump. Only 1 tea and. 2 coffee. The air conditioning unit was unusable due to the noise. No instructions on usage. Eager to try the highly promoted restaurant we were very disappointed to be told the bar and restaurant were closed on Sunday. Again if told this when we booked in we would have gone elsewhere. The room was spacious and comfortable. Nice to have a kettle but ended up going to a local shop to buy coffee as reception was empty to get any more. Breakfast was good tasty and fresh. In checkout as there was a member of staff there we went over our issues. We were told we should have check details before booking it’s not the responsibility of the hotel to explain everything. Complete lack of concern

Nous avons eu un acceuile chaleureux et sympa. Chambre mini suite 218, très propre et grande. La literie est très bonne et surtout grande 2 sur 2 M. Coffre fort et mini bar avec 2 bouteille d'eau gratuites. Le restaurant Mel'ting Pot est spécial avec sa cuisine mexicaine, pas de panique il y a une cuisine traditionnelle. Le personnel du restaurant joue la courtoisie et un tantinet de nonchalance, ça décontracte. L'environnemant est bien, un jet de pierre de la place de Bastogne avec ses restaurant et commerces (Petit Paris). Patronne hyper sympa. Pour la photo de présentation, elle a été prise d'un fenêtre vers l'athénée.

Visuellement au premier abord ça a l'air propre mais quand on retire les draps du lit une multitude de poils de c**, des cheveux et des peluches de chaussettes sont camouflés entre le protège-matelas et le drap où l'on dort.. Vidéo à l'appui si nécessaire, le pire c'est que au prix de 135 € la nuit le geste commercial était de 25 €.. alors que la patronne est venue elle-même constater.
