Stayed here for 12 nights. Location is excellent. Pool area outside great and everywhere very clean. Indoor pool and wellness area are great too. Room decor dated but again very clean. We booked a superior room but not sure it was any better than a basic one. Aircon in room worked well. Generally staff were efficient but not friendly, especially reception staff. When checking out no words were spoken at all. Aircon in communal areas not cold, especially dining room. At times unbearably hot. First few days were fairly quiet but very busy from 13th June. Not easy to find a table at dinner. Food average although quite a lot of choice. Definitely not worth 4*. Compared to the prices of other hotels (booked package) I think this wasn't too bad but as they say, you get what you pay for. We did have a great holiday but would rate hotel as a 3*.

We visited hotel Horizont Baska Vida Croatia in June 2025, the hotel was nice but needed updating.The main problem is was the food, it was very disappointing,It looked like it been put out early and was tasteless. Certainly not 4 star the restaurant was hot with no atmosphere!

Excellently located this Hotel in Baska Voda offers comfortable rooms a nice pool area and Spa. With plenty of indoor/outdoor lounge seating and a Restaurant, this Hotel has much to offer.Completing this are the competent Staff found in all departments

Hotel Horizont has a very good location, only about 100 meters from the finest pebble beach in Baska Voda. There is a relatively large pool area but also an indoor pool in the quite nice SPA department. We had booked 10 nights in a room with a sea view on the second floor, also including a breakfast buffet. The rooms are quite outdated and in great need of renovation, especially the filthy carpeting should be replaced. The air conditioning did not work during our stay. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately there was no bar service at the pool area. Note that the hotel is classified as a 4-star hotel, which it might have been at some point in time, but it surely does not live up to that standard today. However, the overall impression of the hotel is still positive, mainly because of the outdoor pool area, the friendly staff, the perfect location and the nice surroundings with nice restaurants nearby.

Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer mit Gartenblick gebucht. Der Gartenblick ging auf ein Flachdach mit Glaskuppeln, von Garten nichts zu sehen. Dann die Parkgebühr für Gast im Hotel reine Abzocke. Zimmerservice so lala. Das Servicepersonal im Restaurant sehr flink, räumen ab auch wenn man noch nicht fertig ist und am Tisch steht noch Getränk und Nachtisch.

The hotel does have good facilities with an indoor and outdoor pool and saunas. However the rooms are outdated and the air conditioning does not work, in fact when we turned ours on it filled the room with mosquitos, resulting in over 80 bites each. When you walk into reception the hotel is warmer than outside and the dining room was also unpleasantly warm. We did enjoy most of the food and the staff were pleasant. The location is great with lovely walks along the beach in both directions from the town. Baska Voda is a pretty town with a good beach and marina. Overall we had a good trip but it was spoiled by the mosquito bites! This hotel needs an upgrade and new air conditioning.

Älteres unrenoviertes Hotel an schönem Kiesstrand. Dusche in Badewanne mit hohem Einstieg. Insgesamt sauber, Matratze ok. Riesiger Speisesaal mit dem Flair einer Abflughalle. Sehr laut obwohl Saison noch nicht richtig begonnen hat. Viele Busreisegruppen. Wein, Bier und sonstige Getränke aus Zapfanlage. Essen am Buffet teilweise ungeniessbar. Man findet etwas um satt zu werden. Viel fritiertes.

Staff were helpful and considerate. Would highly recommend. Mia ,Radovic,Maya and Anita are the credit to hotel. Others as well but I only remember those and met them mostly. So just saying that everyone is perfect there.
