Its 15 minuten walk to the trainstation.so thats nice but Indië not sleep well the noise from outside was awful the train and tram. And the room is really really budget .price is wayyyyy to high for that room.anyway i was there just for 6 hours of sleep.

I have stayed in many Ibis Budget across Europe but this one stood as among the worse in design.
1. There was no place to keep the suitcase
2. The toilet door doesnt have a knob by design
3. There is no exhaust for the toilet
4. Plug points to charge were at ground level not table level
5. Not enough lighting and when packing to checkout I almost missed a few items.
6. There is so much wasted space and the shower area is so small.
The designer did a very bad job in design and layout.
The Novotel beside this - i have stayed and its so much better.

The room is small, cause it’s budget inn. Otherwise everything is clean and comfortable. Suits for solo travelers, or 2 people groups. And nice to stay in here. Location is near to Basel Bahnhoff by bus.

The Ibis Budget Basel is located about 800 meters from the station but close to tram lines 10 & 11. So it's a simple journey to the hotel.
The staff were helpful, offering ideas, advising us on the Basel Card (free public transport and discounts on museum entry), providing us with an umbrella for the rain.
The rooms are comfortable but no coffee or tea making facilities.
There's not much to do immediately around the hotel but with tram access, you are only minutes from being in the heart of Basel.

The room was really nice and clean, we didn’t have any problems checking in, also the localization is pretty nice, I recommend it for budget trips!
