Service was great, location great, onsite restaurant was great. It is a really old historic property in a lovely village location with gorgeous old thatch-roofed properties within a short stroll. With the A11 right outside, you might be put off, but our room (facing the A11) was sooo quiet. Our room, the Flying Cow, had a huge shower, and a lovely bed. I would stay there again, but as we are moving house to a location nearby, it is unlikey Oh, bye the way, the breakfast was excellent

Lovely pub and restaurant with great live music. Shame it stopped serving drinks at 10pm as we could have stayed longer .

The staff were lovely. Service was prompt and friendly. The room was quaint as it was in the oldest part of the property. The floor was very interesting and changed height as you navigated around the room due to the age of the building. The rooms are about to be refurbished but I hope they will keep the age of the property reflected in the rooms. The starter was great. Grilled prawns. The main dish was dressed crab which was ok but the salad lacked taste as the dressing had no vinegar in it and the potatoes chipotle were almost tasteless. Sticky toffee pudding was really nice. The wine was very good. Breakfast was very good too. Location is excellent with good parking and blackberries ripening at the moment.

The room was ok but bathroom was very small, the shower was very poor and the water only trickled out, there was only one pillow provided and it was very flat. Hardly any channels on the television worked or had very poor reception. It would of been nice for the price we paid for the room to have breakfast included.

I went to the Bull Inn with my partner and was honestly quite disappointed with the service. We went on a quiet Sunday, asked to sit outside, and they said that we would have to go to the bar to order and pay as we went. We were fine with this; however, we didn't realise this meant we would be ignored by the staff completely the entire time. We waited 50 minutes for our food, which seemed to have been brought out by a manager. We were given no cutlery or sauces, and upon asking for them, we then watched this manager on the phone for about 10 minutes before I had to go in and ask for cutlery. While waiting for our food, we watched two members of staff walk past us with their food, while we had been waiting for 40 minutes at this point. They then sat two tables down from us, and we could hear them complaining about their job and how they wanted to go home. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The food was average, yet around 20pp without drinks. Would not recommend.

We visited The Bull Inn on our way to a Spa - we chose it because of the location being close to our final destination and it offers food alll day. We were offered a choice of sitting inside or out, chose outside because of the weather. The service was efficient and the menu is varied. We had mocktails and shared some starters (although they forgot one item on the bread & olive platter) and had a main course each with water for the table. The only dissappointment was the sticky toffee pudding that was dry (not sticky). Our waitress Freya was friendly and helpful and happily split the bill for us.

Staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Roast beef, tender and plentiful Gravy tasted of red wine more than anything else Potatoes were rock hard, couldn’t get a knife or fork in them

Took nearly an hour to get our food on a weeknight, had to ask and chase after my food. The mini salad on the right side of the picture was over 8 pounds and just over 4 inches wide… Did not expect that at all for a power food salad! Asked for a watermelon margarita, and they couldn’t make it as apparently out of tequila. I guess out of luck that night! 🤭🤪🤣 Will not come again
