From the moment I checked in my experience was really nice. Great reception staff and the new room was really nice. Food in bar was nice. Bar had only one server at one point and a lot of people were waiting but overall would stay again

Overall hotel was clean. Service in the bar was very slow even with 5 staff working. No premier league sports are shown in the hotel as they don’t have sky. Breakfast on first morning was cold as we were put into a separate room because the main dinting room was full. Shower could be a lot hotter

The halfway point from Dublin to Galway, in a quiet environment by the lake, very close to the center of Athlone. The room is comfortable and clean, the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is rich and the service is very good. It is a good place for a leisurely vacation.

Although overnight accommodation at this hotel is pricey, we had a very enjoyable stay. Bar food was tasty and not over-priced. Pool facilities extremely clean. Professional and friendly staff who were a pleasure to deal with. Location is right on the shore of the lake, what's not to like about that?!
Room was spotlessly clean with wonderfully thick comfy mattresses and heaps of pillows. Bed linen and towels all brand new. Would highly recommend this place for an escape for a bit of peace 😊
