My wife and I received a very warm welcome on arrival, after we had completed a strenuous walk. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was simple, but met our needs. The lady who runs the hotel couldn’t have been more friendly throughout our two night stay. The hotel’s website is easy to navigate and I recommend that you book directly with the hotel.

Friendly family run hotel. Set back from the main road in Barruera. Food was simple,but tasty and the caramel cheese pudding was outstanding.. As we wanted an early start they made us a picnic breakfast. The father was up early for the cows and so made us coffee before we set off!

Hotek situado en el centro de Barruera, difícil de llegar en coche por esa callejuela y conso 4-5 plazas para aparcar. El hotel es tranquilo con dos plantas de habitaciones. Las habitaciones sencillas, pequeñas y el baño completo pero pequeño. ideala para una o dos noches pero no más. Pero lo mejor sin dudad del hotel es la cena de la media pensión, un menú muy completo, de comida casera con buenas raciones: brasa, sopa, crema... para irse a dormir rodando.

Hemos estado tres noches en esta bonita y pequeña población del Valle de Boí, y este establecimiento ha reunido todo lo que pediamos, es decir, ubicación, aparcamiento gratuito, desayunos y cenas de calidad, con variación diaria de lo que ofrecian. Comodidad de sus instalaciones, amplio comedor respetando las distancias entre meses, cama comoda y a destacar el trato super amable de su propietaria Pilar, la cual nos aconsejó en nuestras excursiones por la zona y siempre pendiente de nosotros por si podía mejorar nuestra estancia. Bei einem dreitägigen Aufenthalt haben wir im Hotel Farre d'Avall gewohnt. Da die Rezeption nicht durchgehend besetzt ist, sollte man vorher einen Termin für den Check-In ausmachen. Netter Empfang durch die junge spanische Gastgerberin mit vielen nützliche Informationen und Unterlagen für den Aufenthalt. Da das gebuchte Zimmer etwas klein war, haben wir nach einer Alternative gefragt. Umgehend wurde uns ein Dachstudio mit kleinem Balkon angeboten, dass wir ohne Aufpreis nutzen konnten. Ein praktischer Aufzug ist vorhanden. Das Abendessen wird nur an bestimmten Tagen angeboten. Es ist mit 16,50 € gut und preiswürdig. Am Haus stehen wenige Parkplätze zur Verfügung, die aber sehr beengt sind - geht nicht anders. In der Umgebung findet man aber überall kostenfreie Alternativen. Direkt gegenüber befindet sich ein kleines Restaurant, was ganz praktisch ist. Frühstück ab 08:30 Uhr passabel.
