Wow, just wow. A great place to stay. Lovely rooms, very comfortable bed, amazingly friendly staff. Jackie is a brilliant breakfast host - and helpfully sorts any requests quickly and with great good humour.

We had a delicious meal in The Pheasant Inn on Saturday night. Eight of us got together for a lovely weekend catch up in Allithwaite and this family run restaurant and pub was perfect for us. The staff were friendly and had a great sense of humour! Food was excellent and I was delighted to be able to sample the local shrimps. Thanks very much for looking after us so well.

Peaceful location.nice warm welcome.very efficient. Family run friendly staff! Breakfast was impeccable! Good quality ingredients and evening meals outstanding fantastic menu and specials board.our room was spacious and the bathroom was clean with a luxury shower,the toiletries were lovely 😍

We had a fantastic one night stay here. The staff are all amazing and extremely helpful. Brilliant location for Lakes’ visit, with car park on site. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and taken to our rooms. Lovely atmosphere in the bar and restaurant, very relaxed but extremely professional. Our rooms were spotless and comfortable with everything we needed, lovely touch with fresh milk and bottled water in fridge. Bathroom was amazing with toiletries and a great shower. We were booked in for dinner and given a lovely table in the conservatory. Our food was delicious, well presented and served by friendly and helpful staff. The beds were comfortable and bed linen beautiful. We had breakfast in the morning which was outstanding and once again all the staff and management were incredibly friendly and helpful. Whilst all the amenities were excellent it was the positive attitude and friendliness of every employee we met that stood out for us. We would most definitely stay here again. Thank for taking such good care of us.
