Best Western Preston Garstang Country Hotel and Golf Club

Spacious twin room and comfy beds with a peaceful view facing the golf course. clean towels and hot shower. ample free car parking spaces outside the hotel. breakfast was good.

Fantastically friendly hotel, golf and local pubs in Garstang (Uber taxi £5). Tony in the golf shop, Gloria on reception, Anne in the bar / dining, Gordon duty night manager, cleaners all work with a smile. Gang of 4 x 60 year old golfers loved our Bed, Breakfast and Golf break, Mon, Tue n Wed golf. For a pay n play, it's excellent. Had the good fortune to inadvertently chat with the hands on green keeping owner. Will be returning in August for a Gang 8 weekend and so pleased to have found this no fuss good honest hotel n golf. Twin rooms are spacious and good warm over the bath showers.

A lovely location, overlooking either the golf course or manicured lawn / flower beds. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Food was lovely and the staff efficient - good value for money - I’d have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

We had our wedding here and it is such a warm welcoming place the rooms was clean the gardens are just beautiful for pictures the food is lovely, just want to thank Julie our wedding coordinator who organised everything for us from start to finish it just made us feel relaxed all the way through we can’t thank you enough and also to Chris and Ann who was there for whatever we needed the staff was amazing we had such a beautiful wedding and Garstang country hotel made that perfect for us we was also given engraved champagne glasses as a gift from them this was just the perfect can’t wait to come back for our anniversary. We arrived on a friday and were directed to the restaurant for check in where we were greeted by a very warm and friendly member of staff. On our arrival we noticed that there was a wedding in progress and were advised to book an early breakfast to avoid the wedding party breakfast, which we appreciated. The room was clean and stocked with tea, coffee and biscuits. The bed was king sized and very comfortable. Unfortunately the wedding party located themselves outside the front of the hotel, very close to our room window which we had open due to the very hot weather. This resulted in us not having a great nights sleep on the first night. However, the following two nights were quiet and pleasant. Breakfast was self service and was extremely good with a variety of offerings. We had an evening meal on our last night which was also extremely good. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the overall experience was excellent. We're not golfers so didn't partake but the course looked immaculate.
