Parc Hotel Gritti

Visited this hotel June 24 Nice holiday although poor WiFi and food not great. When I returned home realised I had lost 2 Vivienne Westwood cardigans. I e mailed the hotel but did not receive a response. As I was back in Bardolino today I called in to the hotel to check if they had been handed in, and was very disappointed by the response, apparently I should have e mailed twice- no apology for their lack of interest and staff response came across as immature and disrespectful.

The room was only superficially cleaned, so we complained about that. - were offered another room, but it was even dirtier, including many hairs in the shower cubicle. - so we accepted they cleaned the first room. The next day it rained, but the windows couldn't handle it, so water flowed in. - down and complained again. Well, then we go down to the basement to use the pool, here we were asked to wear caps on our heads that covered our hair. - but ok you could buy them. The reason for this strange rule that we have never encountered before could not be given. Then we wanted to rent their bikes, but this can only be done in daylight, as the lights unfortunately no longer work. - The pool outside was murky and full of foreign particles. In addition to all these experiences, the staff does not seem particularly customer friendly, - the hotel in general is completely run down, it screams for maintenance, and radiates that it is old and boring. - WRONG for a bad experience. We strongly recommend NOT staying at this hotel. Shame. Værelset var kun overfladisk rengjort, så det klagede vi over. - fik tilbudt et andet værelse, men det var endnu mere beskidt, bla mange hår i badekabine. - så vi accepterede de rengjorde det første rum. dagen efter regnede det, men det kunne vinduerne ikke klare, så det sejlede ind med vand. - ned og klage igen. Nå, så går vi ned i kælderen for at benytte poolen, her blev vi bedt om at bære hætter på hovedet der dækkede håret. - men ok dem kunne man købe. årsagen til denne mærkelig regel som vi aldrig er blevet mødt ned før, kunne ikke gives. Så ville vi leje deres cykler, men det kan kun lade sig gøre i dagslys, da Lygterne desværre ikke virker mere. - Poolen udenfor var grumset og fyldt med fremmed partikler. ud over alle disse oplevelser, så virker personalet virker ikke særligt kunde venlige, - Hotellet generelt er totalt nedslidt, det skriger på vedligeholdelse, og udstråler at det er gammelt og kedeligt. - ØV for en dårlig oplevelse. Vi må kraftigt anbefale IKKE at bo på dette hotel. Ærgeligt

Location of the hotel is perfect as Bardolino close & lake. Pool really nice as a good size and plenty of sun beds. Unfortunately the hotel is very dated and seems the majority of the staff are miserable. We experienced poor service in the dining room and reception. Got the feeling the Italians are not too keen on the English. The most friendly staff seem to be house keeping and some staff in the pool bar. Food in the dining room is very poor and a lack of variety. Although half board we eat out most evenings. Certainly wouldn’t return which is a shame as with an update and some customer service training it could be excellent.

the rooms are old , the balcony has tree growing to it, no view at all ,.food poor and cool never hot, swimming pool filthy had duck swimming on it,,.the room was so depressing we changed rooms charge was 200 euro,..lk garda is beautiful this hotel is a disgrace to this area of ITALY. erf,
