Very very beautiful interior. Super classy. Service is amazing and premium. Alexander the staff at the reception was very amazing and sweet. Gave us heads up about the city and where we should visit. She also took initiative to prepare a surprise for us for our honeymoon.

From entering the hotel to the time we checked out we were treated like royalty. We came to Barcelona for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and on the day of check in I was greeted by beautiful patisserie and a bottle of chilled cabs in our room! Our first breakfast was heralded by complimentary pancakes and the staff were so courteous and helpful. But what made our stay so special was that this isn’t just an ordinary city hotel. They ooze individuality at every opportunity, from the selection of drinks in your room to the evening entertainment and everything else in between. This is our little secret hideaway in Barcelona, and we shall be returning.
Hotel Casa Fuster G.L Monumento

The location is very convenient - very close to Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, which makes it easy to get up early and queue up. The subway and bus are very convenient, and there is a direct railway to the airport nearby. The entire Gracia Street is bustling, but not chaotic and very livable. There are also supermarkets nearby. Room - overall comfortable. According to online reviews, the shower is in a bathtub, and the bathtub is a bit high, which is a bit of a safety issue, but just be careful. There was something wrong with our room at the beginning, and the hotel promptly helped us change it. We had a very comfortable stay for the next few days. The hotel service staff are very nice and polite, which is the service standard of a five-star hotel. There is a Michelin-starred restaurant Aleia in the hotel, and it is very convenient to have a meal there while staying in the hotel.

This hotel was in a great location for walking to all the sites. For the most part it was quiet, but I was there in Oct 2022 (not the height of tourism months). It's a small room, but the layout is quite efficient and does the job. I should mention that this hotel is above the subway so you will hear passing trains. I use white noise at night so it's not a problem for me. The beds were decent and they move twins together for a king or apart for separate beds. The pillows were decent as well. The shower was excellent...good pressure and very large. The room is very clean and tidy. You won't get any toiletries like a shower cap and the like. They do supply glasses and a tea kettle, but you won't get a coffee maker. The lobby is really nice. They do a breakfast buffet if you like for a separate fee. There are many nice restaurants a short walking distance. Some of the better restaurants we attended were near the market just down the street. This is also waking distance to the Sagrada Familia.
Suites Avenue

Our stay at the Suites Avenue hotel was excellent in every way. The apartments are modern, clean, spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. The hotel staff members were all courteous, competent, efficient and ready to assist when needed. The location is also excellent -- on a beautiful, tree-lined street among upscale shops, lively during the day but quiet at night and we felt safe there at all times. The hotel is very close to La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. Also nearby is a taxi stand, two metro stations, bus stops for city buses and hop-on-hop-off buses. We took the metro to Sagrada Familia and to Parc Guell, then walked back from both. The Placa Catalunya was a 20 minute walk. Alternatively, we strolled down La Rambla from the upper part a block from the hotel, down through the busy section, to the waterfront in 40 easy minutes, passing many restaurants along the way. Barcelona itself was beautiful, sunny and hot and the hotel was a wonderful place to stop in for a break from the heat and to come ”home” to at the end of the day. I wholeheartedly recommend the Suites Avenue and would definitely stay there again.
