Romantic Hotels in Barcelona

Firstly, it's too pricey and doesn't really offer good value. It feels very hot even after adjusting the temperature to the lowest setting (19 degrees Celsius being the lowest possible). The room is a bit old, and water flows out from the shower room while showering. The bathroom area is extremely dark. This package cost me around $6K HKD, and I can confidently say it doesn't compare well to other new 5-star hotels in Barcelona. The best thing about W is the bar/restaurant on the 26th floor. The staff is generally rude and impolite, possibly including some of the security staff. The reception staff assisting with check-in are also unfriendly, possibly due to a large number of guests waiting.

The hotel is very fancy, it is a bit pricy but definitely worth it. The one thing I have to complain is that their bath tub, I tried to use the bath tub but the hot water is very slow, and it took long time to reach my ankle, which is not enough to take a bath. I took a shower instead after wait an hour. Also the stopper for the bath tub is broken. The lobby is nice and you will receive 30 minutes of free spa and gym, but you have to make reservation with reception. The employees are very nice and friendly to assist you without your asking.

Staff is very nice. The room is nicely decorated. The location is okay. I’ve stayed for 4 nights. It’s a bit pricy. The breakfast is okay nice but not many choices. Recommended to try anyway. New hotel.

I am from Singapore. Was very impressed with the location of the hotel. It has the old castle feel and the roof top pool n good view and the pretty spirals staircase of the hotel to the roof top . The only fault I can find was the bath towels were not very clean. Have feedback to the Mgt and saw the pretty and friendly Manager Ms Monica who is efficient and quick to settle the imperfect and make us have a Happy Stay again . I love the key . Snap shot of the beautify key and the beautiful spiral stairs for your view. Thumbs up for location, service and breakfast. Buffet breakfast reasonably nice . You can even see the Sagrada Familia at the roof top view . Missed out the night scene though. We were too tired shopping at night and forgot to take the night scene .

Hotel is conveniently situated right at the Barcelona Sants train station. Would recommend this hotel if need to catch a train to other cities in Spain due to connection to train station and taxi stand right outside with easy access to taxis. However, room was tight and squeezy if travelling with children that require an extra bed. Check-in was delayed by half an hour, which did not leave a pleasant first impression.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is right at the entrance of the cathedral. All the attractions in the old town are within walking distance. You can also watch performances in the square in front of the hotel in the evening, which is very comfortable. There is a very nice small bar on the top floor of the hotel with a good view. You can see the whole church. It is worth checking in. However, the hotel room is very small, and it is not very soundproof or light-blocking. The bed and windows are very small, and it feels average when sleeping. The bathroom is relatively large.

We were very pleased with the central location, modern amenities and gracious staff at The Monument Hotel. Situated within an easy walk to some of Gaudi’s most impressive buildings, fine shopping and dining with its own Michelin restaurant on premises, there wasn’t much to be desired in this boutique hotel, save for some minor details. In our case, although we arrived on an early flight and we’re aware check in was not until 3 as we’d been informed when I placed my reservation noting our arrival time - and the concierge agreeably stored our luggage as we took in local sights - we were notified while having lunch a room with a better view would not be available until 5 pm. We decided to wait for that option and made use of the rooftop pool lounges for a late afternoon siesta. Shortly after 5, I went to reception and was informed the room was ready. While adequate in terms of space - with a small sitting area adjacent to the sleeping area - I can’t say there was a view per se as it basically looked over rooftops, perhaps what could be devastating a small courtyard. The bat was actually quite large in comparison but for some reason of design I don’t understand there was a step to the commode area - causing some stumbles during the middle of the night until we were properly acclimated. As I like to tune into the news in the morning while dressing, I mentioned the TV remote in the bed area was not working, however, this was not addressed during our stay. Relatively minor issues all in all in an otherwise comfortable and safe 3 day stay.

I had the pleasure of staying here for just one night with a friend and it was a really nice stay. The room had a lovely view, comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. It all looks like it was newly renovated - all fresh all around. Sincerely lovely and helpful staff in both reception, bar and breakfast. The breakfast was really really nice. Nice layout, live cooking station, seating area both inside and outside and had everything you would want. The hotel has a super location with just a short walk to major sights. Had a fantastic, comfortable stay here in the heart of Barcelona. The staff are so friendly and helpful Really felt like a nice home away from home! I would highly recommend staying here as it has everything, 24 hr concierge, sauna and pool with a bar on the rooftop, room service and our room had a bath which was really nice!

I was travelling for work and stayed the first half at Hotel SixtyTwo. I wish I had stayed there the whole time instead of moving hotels! Fantastic location on Passeig De Gracia surrounded by shops and tapas bars (try Vinitus it is lovely!) The staff cannot do enough for you, great breakfast and a lovely room. They upgraded me and I had a great 5th floor room with a terrace which was lovely. I also dropped my ring down the back of the bedside cabinet and it got stuck and the maintenance team did absolutely everything they could to get it back for me (which they did!) I will stay here again when I return to Barcelona!
