purposely deceived Was terribly disappointed because this was listed as a 3.5 star hotel. I even asked if this was a hotel or hostel and the guy said hotel. This is clearly a hostel as it even says "hostel" on door. As a hostel goes, it wasn't bad but it was priced like a hotel, and the strong solvent smell made my daughter throw up. In the end, we had to book a different hotel and eat the cost. I fully believe this was done on purpose by the property- i got no refund and do not appreciate being taken advantage of.

TOTAL NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE! We arrived at the hotel at 1 AM, only to discover that the access code provided to unlock the door was incorrect. We immediately sent emails seeking assistance, but received no reply. There was no emergency contact number or any way to get help. The staff at the whisky bar downstairs were incredibly kind and informed us that this issue is a recurring problem at this hotel. They mentioned that guests frequently face the same issue with incorrect codes. After an hour of unsuccessful attempts to enter, my friend and I were left with no choice but to search for another room—something extremely difficult to do at 2 AM in Barcelona. Most nearby hotels were fully booked, and we ended up paying 200 euros for the only available room we could find. The next morning, we went to the hotel office to file a complaint. The staff member we spoke to confirmed that the error was on their part for providing the wrong code. Despite this, we recently received an email—six months later—from ******* informing us that the hotel refuses to take responsibility and will not refund our money. Please avoid this property at all costs! The stress, unprofessionalism, and terrible experience are not what you want during your stay in Barcelona.

They sent us the wrong code and we could not get into the property. We arrived at 2am due to a delayed flight and we were forced to look for another hotel to stay that night since the code ******* and the hotel sent us did not work. Hotel staff admitted the next morning that the code we got no longer worked. This is unaxeptable! 3 women in the middle of the night trying to find a place to stay and everything was sold out!

This property is a hostel however is not showing up as a hostel on the listing. We went in and while the place was clean smelled so strongly of cleaning supplies that we actually couldn’t stay there and had to leave.
