The transportation is not very convenient, but I like it very much! The service is super super friendly! I like the old town very much, and I need to stay there for at least two full days! Second-hand shops, buyer shops! All kinds of fun to shop!

This is a hotel that we already knew having stayed there a few years ago. The rooms are magnificent, perfectly clean and the staff are charming. We suffered a little from the noise from the street because our room overlooked the street on the side of the hotel and we were on the 1st floor perhaps it would have been less noisy on a higher floor. A detail is missing in the bathroom: a toilet brush. We will still come back with great pleasure

I booked the hotel for five nights. When we arrived, the elevator was not working and did not work during our entire time. We were on the fourth floor, if you were American this is called the fifth floor in America. I asked if they would offer me some type of compensation for the elevator not working, they would not. Nor would they give us back our money to go to another hotel with an elevator. I did not get what I paid for, nor was I offered any type of compensation, being 68 years old and having to walk up those stairs multiple times a day was not my idea of a good vacation. They didn't even offer a bottle of free water.

The rooms are very modern and clean. The Hotel is perfectly located inbetween Barrio Gotico and La Rambla and the staff was very nice and welcoming. We stayed 3 nights, unfortunately didn't manage to use the rooftop pool, we will another occasion as we will definitely come back!

During our 4 night stay at the Arai, we were absolutely charmed by this stylish hotel and its prime location in the Gothic quarter. Our room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a family of 3/4 people, boasting plenty of natural light, modern decor, and impeccable cleanliness. And the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always eager to assist us during our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this fabulous hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona, and we can't wait to return soon for another memorable visit.
