This place is unsafe for solo female travelers and the staff is so rude about it. Dirty, unfriendly, predatory - literally a traumatic experience. I had to leave my stay early because I couldn’t stomach it and was never met with any remorse about the situation.

This was one of the nicest hostels I've ever been to, can't recommend it enough! Staff: The staff are all so friendly and kind, they really make you feel welcome. Alicia, Karolina and Sol were especially lovely and really looked out for me when I wasn't feeling the best. Nicest staff ever!! The staff go out of their way to organise activities for the hostel and they're always keen to get involved and make friends with the guests. They put music on for guests to enjoy and are always there to help with any requests you have or just for a social chat. Activities: There is so much to do! Every day the staff have an activity timetable. They arrange trips and tours around Barcelona, free family meals every evening (which are always delicious), evening activities and bars & club nights. Bedrooms: The bedrooms were really spacious with plenty of room for everyone and their luggage. Every bed has its own locked compartment for your valuables and they sell padlocks for anyone who hasn't got one. The beds are really comfy with nice bedding and they have a privacy curtain which is a big plus! Every bed has a plug socket plus 2 USB ports, a shelf and a personal light. Facilities: The facilities were all lovely and clean. The communal areas are welcoming and comfortable. There's always refrigerated water for guests plus free tea, coffee biscuits and lemon water available in the reception area. The showers were pretty good and there were always plenty of showers and toilets for everyone. The hostel also has a hair dryer and iron available for guests to use which is so handy, they have free luggage storage and they rent towels for 2 euro. Location: The location is excellent, within 3 minutes of the closest Metro station. There's a bus stop at the end of the street. There's loads of pharmacies, food shops and restaurants around. Really easy to navigate. My only suggestion would be more some more sober activities e.g. a few evening movie nights/ non-drinking games for anyone who doesn't want to go out that night.
